Is there any information or case studies on relapsing remitting MOGad and pregnancy? More specifically relapsing remitting MOGad with IVIGg treatment every 3 to 4 weeks.
I'm just a (male) MOG patient, but my understanding/recollection from previous expert discussions is that rituximab is typically the go-to med to be on when pregnant, vs AZA or MMF for NMOSD (including MOG+) patients. Just googling IVIG pregnancy and looking at the studies that pop up indicate it seems to be rather safe as well, in general, but the evidence is limited, as IVIG is a complicated product. Both drugs (RTX, IG) do have "black box warnings" however. There are some talks and resources specifically about pregnancy with MOGAD and NMOSD you should search for.
