I went to the Lighthouse Italian Ice place in Pt. Pleasant and had the lemon. I was really shocked how good it was. I have had it other places, and it isn't nearly as good. One place was bitter like it had the pith grated into it. You have to eat it slowly and let each spoonful melt on your tongue so you can taste it. I think the best pizza I had at the shore was Pete and Elda's in Neptune City. Most of the pizza is pretty good though. I don't know if you have ever been to Pizza Plus in Asbury Park, but they had pretty good cheap pizzas and other foods. They have been there for decades now.
