Patrick is only ONE of three sales consultants I will watch now. He is as nice on the phone as he is in his presentations. Nice Gary. Maybe you two should got a room. Just kidding. Ha. But, with regard to that rv, yes, slick. Had 1993 Airstream class B for 16 years and now on my Krystal Sprinter rv for almost six years. Anyone interested in this, save a bundle for service and repairs on all the individual components that will need servicing. Other than that, great way to travel, relax and meet tons of friendly rv people.
Ok, I deserved that. Here is the deal. I know what it takes to be a great sales consultant that takes care of his clients. Patrick has it. Enough said. I like the new Atlas very much. I love the Airstream brand. However I just ordered a 2018 Airstream Interstate Grand Tour with rear suspension in the Tommy Bahama version. I did not purchase it from Patrick for one and only one reason. Distance from my home. So I put my money where my mouth is on this one. On to the Atlas. Looks great however we are back to a Fiber Glass Frame on venders chassis. Give a lot more with bed, storage, bathroom, diesel generator vs. propane, ECT. I would rather have the Sprinter Chassis with the Sprinter body with less room. Personal preferences. HOWEVER, there is a market out their for this unit. It shows well. The presentation was done well. Just my two cents.
for RV tours i only watch this channel, and Haylett RV because they give good information without screaming and going through so fast you can barely see anything.

I didn’t liked this video... I L-O-V-E-D I-T! The presentation was superb, without force feeding its features and maintaining it interesting throughout it. For the wife and I to go all over the country, this is the BEST option.
Patrick was my sales man and teacher and Colonial Airstream is my dealership. I am a huge fan! I recently purchased from Patrick and Colonial. I am living my dream! But the Atlas! Oolala! Thank you Patrick for showing me what i want in a few years. FABULOUS!
How cool! And do I want one now, just waiting for that lottery money hahaha. Excellent presentation by the salesman; he really knew his product and was excited about it. Out of all the RV youtube vids I've watched there are only a small percentage of salespeople who do their job that well.
I like the Onan diesel generator...that is awesome. This RV looks absolutely amazing...wifey and I have been looking at new RV's and I wanted to stick with a B...love it...for almost 1/4 million dollars it better be outstanding...I've made approx. $600K in the market this year, so I guess we can afford it.
The generator power should be off the engine as others do. Onan is so yesterday and inefficient compared to these new technologies. Why should I spent that ridiculous amount of money for outdated technology (no inductive cooktop not Cinderella incinerator toilet)? Shame on Airstream!
Be sure to check out the Airstream warranty. If all other remedies fail, it is your responsibility to get the unit to their manufacturing facility in Ohio. You pay all expenses involved in that effort.
Be sure to check out the roadside assistance program. Airstream uses coach net. Their website touts both a $2,000 trip interruption reimbursement as well as an on-site mechanic. Now get a copy of the policy. Roadside assistance program only covers a collision, and not a breakdown. As for the on-site mechanic, they call the mechanic but you get to pay for him.
Not really. It is a shame that for that price they don't include inductive cooktop, generator power off that diesel engine (more space for a cabbie room where that so yesterday Onan generator sits) and the best invention of all - the Cinderella incinerator toilet, giving you more carrying load in lieu of the black water tank. This is just corporate greed, plain and simple.
Hey Patrick, don't pay attention to the guy bitching about your hair. Quite obvious he is bald, and hating on you....it looks great. And you do by far the best airstream presentations online, hands down....
As a former Airstream Interstate owner, I suggest you check out the Coachhouse Platinum II. Coachhouse offers more floorpans and the quality and features are equal or better than Airstream without the $200k pricing,.
I have compared them side by side and the Coachhouse only have a fraction of the standard features and safety enhancements you get standard on the Airstream Atlas.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! Winnebago must love what Leisure Travel Vans have been doing for years. The interior layout of the Atlas is almost a carbon copy of our 2011 LTV Unity MB. Too bad that Winnebago is WAY more expensive than the LTV.
Outstanding safety features, so important, especially the side mirror cameras!! Plus the bed looks so comfy, great bathroom, refrigerator, shades, tv...best features for comfort living! It seems a little dark, unless the bed is out with the extra window? The moon ultraleather with beachwood (my choice) or white cabinets will help. Just beautiful, thanks Patrick, great job (any info on roof solar panels?). For me, I'd like a larger freezer, induction cooktop & a roof ladder. 4x4 would be nice but it seems a little too fancy for taking it on the backroads. Otherwise, outstanding! If we ever decide to get a high-class Class B, that would be my choice ;) Carolyn
Carolyn, thank you for checking us out. The Zamp panels are a total of 300W. The freezer is very deep compared to most RV's. The roof ladder would take from the esthetics so Airstream decided not to install one.
We are anxiously waiting for ours! Supposed to be first part of May. There was a fire at the paint factory and ours was one of 7 destroyed😞. We have been told ours will be a 2019. We walked through the demo at the Ft Myers dealership and it is amazing! Plenty of room for 2 people and 2 dogs. Looking forward to many adventures - have already booked 3!
Pleasure Way has had this floorplan and quality for years. They make theirs on both a Mercedes Sprinters and Ford Transit (if you prefer to avoid expensive repairs on a Mercedes)
Great demonstration of this van. When buying a european van everything is an extra, even a window in the habitation door. So its great to see everything included in the price. Sue (U.K.)
Great looking RV! My only complaint is that they are so expensive for what you get. As a automotive paint and body guy I can tell you that any time your planning on dealing with fiberglass on a long term basis that overtime fiberglass becomes old and brittle and causes a host of problems no matter what it is coated with paint wise. Just remember that when buying a boat, RV or a car made of fiberglass.

I have been waiting for a slideout version of the Interstate for a long time, and the Atlas does not disappoint. Is it possible to just convert the couch to a bed without using the slideout and Murphy bed while driving on highway?

The Airstream Atlas MSRP starts at $221,004, while the top of the line Canadian Serenity Travel Van starts at $140,595. Visually the Airstream is more stunning looking but is it worth $80,000 to get something very sleek? Both of these units seat 4 people. The Airstream Tommy Bahama model costs $175,898 and seats 9 people.
Please note, there is no starting MSRP on the Atlas, everything is standard. The other manufacturer you are mentioning has many upgrades that many people options and brings their MSRP much higher.

There are different levels of Coachnet available as upgrades. Your selling dealer can go over what Coachnet covers as part of the Airstream, plan.

A 73" bed is a deal breaker. I'm 76" without pointing my feet. I need 80" minimum. I'd sleep there if I had to but I wouldn't own one.
