She says going to the Crossfit, going to the Dillards, going the Walmart, whereas most people say I'm going to Walmart/Dillards/Crossfit. I am from the south too, but not her particular area, but I kinda get it. In putting the word THE in front of all the locations that she does--- and she does it a lot--- it's sort of making the places seem more formal or exclusive, in a subconscious or unplanned sort of way. I think that happens with country people who don't have as many opportunities to go to those types or places, as someone in the city does who might take such places more for granted. But, yes, the use of "the" like she does is just one little part of her overall appeal and comical nature. She is phenomenal at what she does.

Two days ago my best buddy, Jack, passed away. Jack is a Beagle and he was a huge part of our family for fourteen years. His passing really hit hard. I was familiar with Mrs. Morgan’s comedy but never really paid her much attention. I’m not sure if it was Divine intervention, sheer coincidence or what, but for some reason her routines showed up in my feed. I’ve been laughing for the last twenty four hours. Thank you, Mrs. Morgan! You couldn’t have come along at a better time.

When interviewed, Leanne has said she was offered sitcom deals several times. For various reasons it never worked out. Looking back on it, she said it worked out for the best because she would’ve had to either leave family behind while she commuted to Los Angeles or move everyone to Los Angeles; life for her kids would’ve turned out so differently. Now she has a Netflix special.

I love her humor but not everyone is cut out for a sitcom. Sometimes they can't find a storyline to do the comedian justice, as was the case with Jeff Foxworthy. Bill Engvall did pretty well with his. I've heard Jeff say that he hated doing it...maybe that was the problem.
