GPK cards will always be awesome! Love the artwork more than ever! I remember getting packs back in 87-88-89!!! Oh the good ole days! Love to get some GPK cards for my son age 12!!!

Yeah these look awesome. 12 years old sounds like a good age to get into it, I remember my mom always telling me NO when I would ask for packs but I think I was 6. LOL.

@@TalksChrome I like the look of them. I am a completist, so the only issue I see if that you only got one numbered card in the box, which makes me think it will be very hard to get a complete master set.

2023 GPK: Goofy looking parallel borders-check, candy land color scheme-check, heavy lean into nostalgia to make up for the terrible pricing- check. There are great looking GPK stuff but 2023 is not the year so far. There are even former GPK artists that make way better stuff.. look into them instead. Topps makes Wizards of the Coasts look like the people's champion.

Appreciate the insight Jarod and I'm sure you're right. I'm not a huge GPK guy so I don't know my stuff like you do but I do love View Askew so that's why these were intriguing. They were way overpriced, probably should have been more like $20 but who knows what kind of agreement they had with View Askew financially.
