  • Will:*
    It's used as a future tense and it expresses "willingness" eg.
    a. I will read before I sleep.
    b. Zan karanta kafin na yi bacci.
    Would:
    It shows the past future tense.
    E.g
    a. I told him (that) I would attend the meeting.
    b. Na sanar da shi (cewa) zan halarci taron.
    Pls, note: it's wrong to say:
    a. I told him (that) I will attend the meeting. ×
    Shall makes offer or suggestions.
    E.g
    a. Shall we sit down?
    b. Ko ma zauna?
    Should is used to express obligation
    a. Every student should come to school tomorrow.
    b. Gobe ko wanne ɗalibi yazo makaranta.
