Please permit me correct one common misconception, which I have heard so many times, without number. The Acholi people did not move from Sudan, or from wherever to present day Northern Uganda. The Lwo people, the group now known as Acholi, since the turn of the 20th century, have been in the present location for centuries before Uganda existed. So it is Uganda, as defined by the British colonial borders, which came to Acholiland and not the other way round. As fot Acholi culture as narreted in this video clip, I leave that for another day.
