Simcenter Nastran Multistep Nonlinear - Sol 402 for CJoint, PJoint, Screw type motion

This video demonstrates Simcenter Nastran Multistep Nonlinear Module Sol 402 for Kinematic Joint simulation. Since the PJoint dialog box does not have Screw option, but the Simcenter Nastran Quick Reference Guide does support Screw joint, we can add in manual text to define it.

hey man, i am interested in tutorials for impact analysis with sol402, is it possible? I heard that sol701 was designed for that, but no luck for me as the version, which we run at the company doesn't support it. can you give us an example how to simulate a steel ball hitting a plastic cover?

Is Nastran a real solver or a joke ? NX doesn't have any non-linear analysis solver, it uses the SAMCEF solver. What a vast joke Nastran !
