incredible seeing innumerable people on here citing ronald as a major influence and popular artist in their catalog. I remember when he was just starting and myself being an amateur synth player and immediately feeling immense admiration for the guy!
I hadnt heard this for a very long time, then new car new old music and now pedal to the floor, how could I forget this piece, it is so powerful and I absolutely love it.

Why is Jenkees not more famous? I get that people don't appreciate musical artistry anymore, but this guy makes my work day so much more enjoyable. His style is more fun than any of these rich and famous posers, yet I never hear so much as a mention of him in the media.
welcome to 21st century art. the actual, true, amazing art gets buried, while the media and record companies tout their next pet project that is a rehash of what they have been doing for the last decade. arent we lucky? But I will say that Jenkees gets more attention than most deserved artists, a lot of his videos are in the millions of views. A lot of what I listen to is in the mere hundreds, or thousands, which isn't a bad thing necessarily but it does speak to our culture quite a bit.
He doesn't make a huge volume of work. Look at his youtube page, he disappears for years at a time.

I discovered BitTorrent forever ago and was in search of more minimal style music. Well, I downloaded a month's worth of music and hadn't listened to any of it. Stumbled upon this album and it changed me. Incredible music and it lives on years later. Inspiring!
