    16:45 "I mean we're getting a timeout anyway" well played Ryan.

      [USAR Ruleset]
      3.9.1. Regular timeouts - Teams are allotted one 60-second timeout per game. The
      time-out may not be called during a point. This timeout may be called in between the first
      and second serve. The teams may not leave the court area and should have water or
      equipment stored near the court before the match.
      Timeouts not permitted between serves under IRF rules.

    The title was so long so I couldn't tell which game it was until I clicked on it. This very well could be on purpose but I thought I would point it out.

    would love to see the stats for this game, cause it felt like 50% aces/bad receive, 20% double faults and 30% 1-2-3 put aways, with one defensive break :/ Makes me sad, but great production regardless, keep it up!

      Bigger ball + weighted net/higher quality net = better game imo. Less skill/finesse but more athleticism, more points played, and potentially more entertaining IMO. Need and want more people to test it but as of right now I think it’s the direction the game should go in

    • @AleksandrsJuska
      @AleksandrsJuska ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@thomashamilton1367 weighted net sounds interesting, havent heard anything about it. Would that mean the ball wont bounce as much? As Premier spike rep, any teasers if they are working on smth like that? 😁

    • @thomashamilton1367
      @thomashamilton1367 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AleksandrsJuska the premier spike net is heavier, and in the Richmond major all the nets were actually weighted too. Makes for a more consistent game where you don’t need to adjust the net all the time. It works well with big ball though cause a normal set gets moved/broken when we’ve tried big ball in the past. The premier spike net with a bigger ball is definitely something I’d recommend people try if we wanna get a more rally filled game :)

    • @AleksandrsJuska
      @AleksandrsJuska ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thomashamilton1367 hahaha, I dont know why but I thought you were talking about the actual net not the set :D Now it makes sense. Premier still hasnt released their ball, right?

    Insanely great production as always. Was I the only one who found the audio mixing to be way off tho? Colour commentator was very quiet. Maybe my headphones messed up?

    • @theroundnetwork
      @theroundnetwork  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately Josh’s output volume was drastically lower than Jonah’s. This is from audio recorded straight out of the sound board. In the future, we’ll be checking audio levels for both commentators beforehand with Gasaway. Hard to manage all the elements of a five camera + audio live capture with a two man team.

    Why does it feel like all the serve replays are high 😅

    • @theroundnetwork
      @theroundnetwork  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Mostly has to do with camera height/angle/focal length. That’s one reason why going to video review for high calls is very difficult to count on.
