Caliente Presents: The Pro’s Corner Tip of the Week!
FWIW- Pinlock lens technology. Who’d have thought. Derek Arnold, an English inventor who personally experienced the problem of a fogged up visor. Over twenty years ago during a race on the TT Circuit in Assen (the Netherlands. He got the inspiration to rid this problem once and for all. Derek Arnold started importing helmets into the Netherlands in 1979 but didn't invent the Pinlock visor system until 1994 and trialled with the Dutch police. Now you know the rest of the story. Chris your Trailer looks amazing and tracks like an arrow behind that Lexus LS500 of motorcycles that sounds like a Porsche flat six when accelerating. Ride safe and ride often. Peace.

Thank you for your blogs. Now all you need is a helmet wiper. Love your show. Keep up the great work.

Right on Chris. My cycle mate cm2000 Ltd is 22 years old with torsion bar suspension. Straight a an arrow. Do a video stressing weight placement packing the trailer. Your followers need to know the difference between pulling straight or wavy.

I started pulling a trailer back in 1979. It was a Smitty’s American Eagle, and it had zero suspension. Friends would watch it come off the ground in corners or bumpy roads. I replaced that trailer with an Escapade LE with SW Air shocks. What a difference! I haven’t pulled the Escapade since 1999. I wonder what shape the shocks are in now. I also wonder if the coil overs would be a good replacement if my shocks are bad, if in fact I want to use it again.

Hey Chris, I’m really enjoying watching your videos. I have been riding for 49 years, presently riding a 2016 Ultra Ltd looking at purchasing a new Goldwing Tour DCT. I’ve had 2 Goldwing’s in the past. The accessory videos are great and I’m really interested in an escapade trailer. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I have a 2016 escapade, and I still have the air ride suspension. I hope if or when I have problems with the air shocks. I’ll just put the coil over spring on my escapade

I love your rig combination! 2021.
My first new Goldwing was 1985 Interstate. Of the 5 Goldwings I have owned, including the 2012 I ride now, my 1995 SE was my favorite. Hands down. Had all the factory bells and whistles.
People always want to debate the need for all that. I have always believed, since 1985...ALL Goldwings should have had automatic transmissions. Finally they're coming around. Ha!
