I used Wave for years, before switching to QB and using it for many years. I'm actually just about to switch everything back to Wave. I have several seperate businesses I need to keep track of, and Wave makes it so easy to move between them. Can't think of any reason to keep paying for QB, which is why I came here to watch the comparison-- in case there's any good reason to stay with QB that I'm not thinking of. In my case, doesn't seem to be a reason to stay and pay.

      Hi
I'm looking for an accounting software which is able to track my project and cost center.
You know sometimes an employee can also be a customer.
I want to add the person once and use that as an employee and as a customer as well.
Do you think Wave is able to handle these?

been using Wave for a year and have had zero problems with it. It instantly gave my roofing business the appearance of professionalism. The estimates and invoices are awesome. I just purchased QB because I assumed Wave was inferior due to it being free and I had nothing to compare it to. After floating around QB for a week, I realized that Wave does everything QB does. Looks like I'm just gonna eat the first month QB fee and cancel. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

They're changing the pricing for Wave. Some things are no longer free, mainly syncing with your bank.

Thanks for the detailed review, I've been using Wave for a couple of months and am really happy with it so far. I'll be needing to track at least two businesses soon so I'll probably stay with Wave

Best video I've saw giving a true honest comparison on both platforms.

Really appreciate this review - Quickbook is probably overkill for me and Quicken Home and Business has been too buggy to use. Going to try Wave - hadn't heard of it!

Wave blows quickbooks out of the water! I absolutely hate QB with a passion! QB has never been user friendly. Wave is so much easier to use. However, Wave has some kinks I wish they would workout. They really really need a "NO RECEIPT" report.
