I have a funny story about the German language: My father was courting (in his 60’s) a lovely Austrian woman and he wanted, when he met her mother, to be gracious. He asked someone what he could say. He was told “I kiss your hand, Madam.” And in German he should say, “Ich kuss der hAnd, Madam.” But he got the accent wrong and said, “Ich kuss der hUnd, Madam” which is a kind of curse like we might say in English “kiss my ass” and while everyone else was shocked and her mother was laughing, my father did not get the joke.... A Leo, he was later mortified to have potentially offended her, but she was not and he did eventually marry and the family joke, well, you can just imagine.
I heard from a neurologist that stress causes the absent mindedness/memory problems. It's normal. Stop releasing the hormones, Cyndee! Right now! (Jk Jk) I hope you breathe more. I need it too.
