$75-$90 US is not entry level this is more of a mid range Airbrush. The cheap $25-$35 that could be said to be entry level are actually pretty decent and do very well if you polish the needles before using them. 2 or 3 good polishings and the $25 brush suddenly like magic shoots beautifully. I have Sparmax 3 and must say it does incredible work especially after polishing that lower grade needle, which is really the key if you plan to go cheap. My Iwata fares no better stock after a few polishings on the cheaper ones but the trigger is far smoother regardless. Great video!
They also do a 0.3mm nozzle/needle version which is otherwise the same in all other regards: Sparmax Max-3. It's a little trickier to find, but well worth it if you have need of the smaller nozzle/needle setup. Just got one myself to go with a Sparmax SP-35, which is good enough at 0.35mm nozzle/needle but it only has a 2mm reservoir and no adjustor for paint flow.
So cool! Thanks for the detailed video. Good news! Just found out that this work horse is made in Taiwan and not in China! Whew! Sooo like things made in Japan, this is gonna last, but its more affordable then made in Japan. 😝 Definitely getting one! So sick of crap made in China breaking all the time😔, so this is up my alley for sure.
Finally someone pronounces Vallejo correctly!

Nice review, especially as I recently broke an Iwata neo this looks like a better replacement.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes - easy. Standard parts breakdown most airbrushers will be familiar with.
another great review.already have an H&S airbrush but will add one of these.thankyou for the review
Well this one is also a Harder and Steenbeck airbrush /but from their low budget range) so basically youll have 2 then! :)
They only distribute some Sparmax products but make their own lower end airbrushes though.
Hmm i am considering to get one now thanks
Question: the silhouette of an airbrush used in the logo for the show, is it a Badger?
Great review by the way. :-)
Thanks. Good question. It's no brand in particular, just a generic airbrush we made up in Illustrator.
Thanks for the answer.
Hi if i buy this airbrush, could it connect it to a revel starter airbrush?
Maybe, check it has a 1/8th connector. Don't actually know the Revell sizes.
Obrigado pelos excelentes vídeos....
is the max3 good for this
The Max-3 is finer, it's a 0.3mm needle & nozzle.
thanks
