  • I went on a hike and checked out Goat Canyon Trestle. It was tough sledding in the heat. Just goes to show you to need to respect ma nature. VLOG 009

Looks like an old western out there. I love the Californian landscape.

I love your video genre. Abandoned places, urban exploration(urbex)

Pls be careful going to abandoned places. A lot of crazy people nowadays. It’s just not the same anymore.

Was that sound the actual snake rattling or did you add that?

thank you for your video. when you had to detour around the locked tunnels, how long was the hike around? I have seen many videos with mountain bikers? is the path easy enough to walk a bike around ?

The first detour won't take long, but it's steep and having a mountain bike will make it difficult up and down that slope (I hope you're strong enough to carry that thing around).
The second one will be challenging with the mountain bike (where I saw the snake), the trail is narrow and can be steep and lots of cacti and rocks to hop around and over - a lot of videos don't show that part - it took me maybe 40 minutes or longer for that second detour
I was overly cautious since I was on my own (I didn't see another soul out there the entire 9 hours). I don't trust the metal grates and railings on the trestles. Frankly I think people who ride their bikes on there are crazy. One slip or off balance move and you'll fall off the side of the cliff or plunge hundreds of feet down. Some people like that adrenaline stuff.
Having a bike does make the straight paths much easier.
