I saw this in a drive in as a kid and I liked it a lot. I guess it's time to revisit it.

I learned about it from a drive-in podcast I listen to. This would be a good one to see at a drive-in.

I recommend Mysterious Monsters. It deals mostly with Bigfoot. but also includes The Loch Ness Monster and The Abominable Snowman. Quite a good scare in the latter part of the movie (at least to this 11 year when I first saw it in early 1976).
