    Only used this once at white acres. I took particle and 12mm Manilla with me not realising there were tons of 8oz fish. I was told to fish pure boilie. Any size above 18mm. I chose the 18mm scopex and got the matching wafters. First night I lost one, sadly hooked one in the stomach that would have been a pb but doesnt count so it went straight back. Then in the morning I had a 14lb 15oz mirror. Put out 1kg of 18mm scopex. Reeled in through the day because nothing was happening through the day and when stalking. Put the rods out around 7pm. Had a 14lb 13oz mirror within 10 minuets. Lost one in the night and that was the end. It’s a good bait but when my pb common and pb mirror are on sticky Manilla I can’t not use sticky. If this doesn’t produce this year scopex and Nash bait in general will be my next choice, a firm favourite of mine is the instant action squid and krill 15 millers

    This is a great bait, it’s caught me many good fish... I did love the Formula One about 18 years ago very similar 👍🏻🎣

    Best bait I ever used was Essential B5. Other than that the old Nash Formula One was brilliant, Whisky also. And the old Tangee Squid 👌

    • @jason88580
      @jason88580 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Origional whiskey was awesome the purple was also very good, but essential b5 has stood the test of time goes to show a good bait will never blow and the company’s don’t need to produce lots of different baits 👍

      I will do. I'm really loving your channel. Loads of really helpful stuff. Going to get myself some sonik rods. Do you know if they do a rod ideal for surface fishing. I saw the review on the fox x3 floater but can't find them anywhere 😢.

    Popular baits catch more fish, it's basic maths. The difficulty is knowing how many fish caught to how many kilos sold.
    Put a potato in front of a hungry carp and you will catch.
    Having said that, there are a few baits (even ready mades) I have tried that I have total faith in.

    Hi joe can you tell me if I put the syrup over the boiles and leave them in the bucket will they last ?? Or what I’m asking will they keep just as long as bait that’s not had syrup on them
    Thank you bait is a big thing for me and finding the right one is a mine field SO I’m going to run with the NASH for a while. Dave.

    Advice please guys - I’m fishing a French lake that advises using a fishmeal boilie. I was lucky enough to win a bundle of boilies, pop ups and wafters from carp tech. As we all know these trips are expensive so if I can save myself a few quid on other baits who would recommend going against the grain and giving these a good crack?? Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!!

    I used the cultured key and key cray hookbaits and caught on them consistently on a fairly challenging water, so have no doubt the scopex squid will be just as good.
    One tip, as they are a bit pricey, after catching pop the hookbaits in a pot with some rock salt, believe me they work a treat, tight lines 🐟🐟
