A lot of top tier pals should be made to future proof yourself for when a Boss type pal is put in the game. Their might be a new Electro boss down the pipeline. It's good to have ur Anubus readyy for that.
I think one build worth considering is Vanguard, Stronghold Strategist, Legend, and Burly Body to be more of a damage sponge that gives you Ground damage. Maybe switch out Burly Body for Musclehead if you want Anubis to deal more damage rather than tank more, but that feels more like personal preference.
I found that Anubis's special skills are incredibly unreliable and glitchy when I tried to use them, they seldom hit. But I say hes worth it for a base pal or to have in the party to whip out as a builder when you're building.
I like Anubis as he is the jack of all trades pal. You can optimize him for combat or the base, but you can also give him Artisan, Lucky, Ferocious and Legend and it will still perform almost as well in all situations. He can't necessarily carry a team but like you showed you can Gobfin stack and he can back you up, or you can Dumud stack with either a Menasting or Warsect and have a really good tag team. Great pal, worth maxing out.
Anubis with the gobfins looks like it would absolutely destroy Orserk. Even with the dumuds you were hitting him hard with the AR. Imagine that ground damage from the AR with the gobfins! Yikes!
persoanlly i think anubis is a base pal only. You were doing more damage with the AR. his move set is rubbish (even though its strong). What work speed do you have on you base anubis. i got 3 with 150 work speed then fed them the mozzarina burger (i think, improve workspeed and hunger depeletion) and then they reach 250-280
I wonder if they didn't try to patch the Pal AI. I've never seen a frosty book it all the way over to the other end to get up onto that platform you bug her out on. Might account for the really strange behavior today.
Nah its the same size. just done it so many times i know where to place them and i turned off decay so i can build "SOMETHINGS" out of the circle a bit.
@@PalWorldFanatic-bx7fl if structure deterioration is off, you could build a castle base so foundations are outside your circle and then build the walls outside your circle. Then just placing things neatly will maximise your space. If you build a base on 2 or more floors then you get a HUGE base

I've used Anubis as a battle pal a few times. You have to micro manage him a bit. He's the God of getting stuck with that forceful charge move
Forceful charge is now much faster and goes further but doesn't last as long.
Anubis' Forceful charge has a LOT of trouble with any sort of obstacles. Realistically replace forceful charge with rock lance and you're good to go.

Swap Forceful Charge with Spine Vine ;) He won't get stuck no more and do a hell of a lot more damage!
Forceful Charge is really broken imo.
Tri-Lightning is another valid option, and might work better against flying pals.

He should be insane with the skill cooldown reduction passives
I dont know how good anubis is from this video but it proves that max player attack and shooting is good.
