Yes. Beautiful watch. Did you have trouble deciding if you wanted Cartier or Rolex? I like the two tone panthere. Rolex are better quality but the Cartier seem so sleek and slim and comfortable. I heard the new Rolex are more comfortable than the old clasp. How are you liking it now that it has been a year?
I have both this watch and also the panthere from Cartier. I got the Rolex first but tbh I wear the panthere daily and it’s my favorite watch. Did you take the plunge and bought the panthere in the end?

Jerusha girl I've got the same watch! I've had it since I was preggers with my first back in 1993! It's truly a classic and you will never get tired of wearing it. It never goes out of style. It will need to be serviced every few years but they will polish it and it will look brand new. You got it at an excellent price! Wear it with joy 👍💃⌚️

Lee T I am guessing it was Kalmar Antiques. Living in Sydney you have many excellent shops which sell preowned watches. Vintage Watch Co and Sydney Watch Exchange are two other highly reputable dealers for watches I would recommend. Mid size Rolex is slightly out of favour at the moment and could be good buying as Jerusha discovered. Paul Pluta is the eminent expert in watches in Australis, his videos can be a little colourful in terms of language but his knowledge is par none. Remember Paul is trying to make living from his channel. ⌚️⏱⌚️👍🇦🇺

You’ve probably figured it out, but you have micro adjustment on the clasp of your watch. That is one of the advantages of a Datejust with the older clasp. Enjoy your new watch.
