  • We have made a robot for students to learn more about control systems. We are looking at how the position of a ball is controlled with a PID control mechanism.
    PID stands for Proportional-Integral-Derivative, which is a control algorithm used in engineering to regulate a process and maintain its stability. PID controllers were invented to keep boats on course. Nowadays, it's used to control speed, position and temperature.
