Sr. I have two questions, if you don’t mind. I am planning to purchase a brand new 50G in a couple of months. What is the difference between the 50G and 50P?, Is the 50P bigger than the 50G?.

The new "P" series replaces the "G" series units. John Deere still lists both units on their website and duplicates of many of their models. Some of the new P series will have larger HP ratings (the P series has a new Tier rating for emissions). As in most cases, to meet emission regulations, the horsepower has been increased. However, the units are not physically larger. Hope this helps!

Nothing has changed but the sticker p. This machine is identical to g series. Still built in Japan by Hitachi. John deere doesn't build any excavators. Hp ratings are identical. . I own 35g and 50g . Smoothest , fastest controls on the market. Oh they did update inside door handle. Great job Hitachi!!!
