Perfect timing. Just ordered a 163 Camo Ext 2.5. IceAge rails are next. All for my 18 Axys 800 155 SC. Other than rails/hyfax and rear axle wheel size, no other changes. This video confirms my expectations - easy change over.
I wanna know if 2012 rails will work on a 2000 its hard to pass up this good of a deal. I have 00’ 800 rmk 151” but i wanna put these 163” rails and its got 2” paddle
bro ! But its substantially heavier which make the power to weight worse and has a wheelie issue because to how the suspension is setup, and idk if they fixed the belt blowing issue
@@carson.608 yes its 10 pounds heavier wet weight. Not a wheelie issue due to suspension, but the track on a stock polaris is so terrible you get no traction, the track on the lynx is like cogs the traction is unreal, if you put a good track on a polaris it will do the same:P
@@Rossxr just saying it wasn't your guys idea. my skidoo chassis handle technical terrain just as good as the axis. Plus my skidoo engine doesn't need a rebuild ever 400 miles.
Ross Robinson I’ve looked at this a year ago taken a 155 - 163 but a 2.6 track is really spendy however there is a lot of 2.4 tracks available for half the price, how much of difference between them is there?

Awesome video guys, keep up the good work. You are doing so much for the snowmobile industry👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks!! stoked your watching and enjoying them!
will you do a video about how to install them in a 155?

Can someone explain the advantage / disadvantage of the 7", 8" or 9" wheel that Iceage offers.
Does all the old suspension from the 155 fit the 163 bolt on?
elias broman yeah they bolt right on!
Do you have switch out the track or can you use the 155 Track on the 163 rails?
no you need a 163 track also
Are these still available through Burandts backcountry?
Yep. They are on our website.

You misspelled www.chrisburandt.com at the end. GET IT TOGETHER ROSS!
Good job Ross..... Ive been working like 47 hours a day so that doesn't surprise me that much.... LOL
Chris burandt can you explain why you have asked to do in the background
163", 8" vs 9" wheels?
does that mean your able to stretch the track? Or do you also need a 163 track as well?
Ski doo in the background 0:12 🤷♂️🤷♂️
clients who come ride with us a BBA
Can I change my 2024 Ski doo Backcountry from 146 to 154?
Anyone do this to a 144?
Lynx bondocker ds 3900 already has a shorter tunnel on a longer track STOCK, and has more hp/tourqe the the polaris 850 soooo 🤔

bro ! ok sure I have never rode A skidoo these are just things ive observed and personally I think polaris is better.
Can’t get it in North America. If we could I’d get one as I love the etec 850.
Lynx [skidoo] has been using short tunnel for years.
yes but there is no LYNX in the us. and that chassis doesn't handle the technical terrain nearly as good as the AXYS

Shorter track = better
Dr. Evil voice: “Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.”
@@rossanderson7689 i liked my 155 compared to my 163
To each their own
I'm sure you need more than just rails lol
rails and a Track, that's it!
I know I would have like you to talk about the track cost and choice lol love the videos I will ride with you all one day

163 2.6 is the way to go! $1300 new retail

That wasn’t in-depth at all...
Sorry but there is not much more to them. Stronger, same weight, best price, custom colors, and options for bomber rails, not much more to cover
Ross Robinson well not much to the rails. But you gotta do an install vid. Seems like a lot of people are interested.
