The orange on the nose and ears really elevates the models. I'm going to have to try that with my next batch of green skins.
It does add a bit more character to them 🙂

Love this Heroquest slapchop style! I've got the heroquest and all expansions so far, and I will definitely use your videos as a path to achieve its painting. I will use a kind of slapchop grey+white with all the new vallejo express. Keep the good work, and thanks from an Island over the Atlantic.

Re your comments on the quality of the finish of the figures. I think it should be noted that these are technically counters for a board game rather than figures for armies to battle and skirmish with. Maybe it might be an idea to run a price comparison with dedicated wargames figures for a value review. I suspect there is a trade off in price for finish.

Printed Encounter makes models that would be perfect for HeroQuest (especially his goblins)! Great video!

With your texture pallette a simple thing I do with mine is toss it in some hot water for a bit then scrape at it with my fingernail ( real tools would also work) and because it's so much paint layers it all kinda just peels off leaving the original surface. Just a thought. Anyway great video as always cheers guys
Cheers for that, yeah its great its just water based paint so should come off, or I can design a new texture palette to 3d print 🙂

Primal Collectibles (MMF) do a set of alt Stl models called 'Masters of Dungeons Quest'. Has only one sculpt for enemies but does include a Fimir. Also includes alternative furniture models.

Just say no to pills 😋, could use corks from wine bottle 🙂
The minis are more like game pieces to me. Still, I got my copy of HQ for £60 and you get a LOT for that so I wasn't expecting GW quality. Still they're ok for what they are and they paint up decent. Nicely done. 👍

Nope, I havent done the grey dry brush for about 6 months now, cant say it made a lot of difference to be honest and is one less step to do 🙂

Honestly, the Gobbos look more like the "red capped" varient of the goblins, not just the normal type. Looking forward to your 3d prints of the game.
Im starting to think I might prefer the look of goblins to orcs 🙂
