I loved these two videos and I think you did an awesome job, man! Keep up the awesome content! This is my best guess as to teams and locations... - Boston/ NE Cannons - LA/ Cali Redwoods - Denver Archers - Dallas Atlas - Baltimore/ Chesapeake Whipsnakes - Great Lakes Waterdogs (gives options to play in Columbus, Minneapolis, and Chicago ) - Upstate Chaos - NY Lizards (Chrome Rebrand): Paul's other MLL team makes a comeback. As much as I would love the Bayhawks to make a comeback, I'm just not sure the PLL would rebrand over half of the original teams into former MLL namesakes. I think most of this thinking is us just being nostalgic of the former teams.

Whipsnakes have the coolest logo though. The snake in the shape of a lacrosse head is a pretty sweet detail. They don't call em the Dripsnakes for nothing
It really would be a shame to miss out on the Texas market and agreed there is definitely still a chance. What did this past weekend tell the league about Texas...this is the biggest piece that we don't have.
The Waterdogs are going to Chicago w/ Barstool. Bold prediction, they play at Northwestern until the Bears finish their new stadium. Then the Dogs will play on the Bears new practice field. The market is ready, the fans are there and the new facility will be state of the art.
Waterdogs would be my Philadelphia team. While the Chaos wether in Toronto in my opinion or in your opinion upstate New York should get a new name. I like the “Snowhawks”. From Madden expansion games. While the Whipsnakes should be the D.C team as a Whip is in fact a position in Congress. While the current Whipsnakes should get a new name in Baltimore. I’m going to bring back the Stallions name from the CFL actually. But you more or less had my ideas other than maybe having the Archers and Chrome swap cities.

Im willing to bet Paul wants Atlas in NY so they can play at Red Bull arena and get Red Bull as a league sponsor. its not a bad idea. I understand the PLL wanting to stick with brands theyve cultivated, but nit getting the Bayhawks back cut deep
Interesting take on NY Atlas because otherwise I REALLY don't see it making sense. Chaos style of play reminiscent of the Candian style and next to the border...Great! Chaos attitude and swagger doesn't scream southern hospitality to me, but oh well. I hear you on the Bayhawks. Whips felt like a given going to that region...but I think they worked hard on building that brand too. All in all good to see the teams have homes, but we still get the touring model. We'll see how long that last!
@@OffBallLax I'd recommend listening to Paul's appearance on Terry Foy"s IL podcast. He shed a fair amount of light on why teams went where. He specifically mentioned , and highlighted the Chaos' landing in Carolina in saying this, that they were thinking in terms of long term branding when placing the existing teams in locations. I believe he specifically saiud just because putting Chaos Upstate makes a lot of sense now doesn't mean it will in five years with the amount of turnover that happens in this league. That being said, it's pretty clear that they want to put teams in venues set for professional lacrosse and locations that they have good relationships with. Carolina got a team because Legion memorial was updated with pro lacrosse in mind. Utah got a team after helping keep the league alive in 2020. Since Albany has been hosting training camps, I'm sure they'll have a team at some point.
@@timhayes8509 thanks for the tip. I'll have to give it a listen! If you read enough you eventually found Utah was very much based on a relationship and potential future franchise owner. I think that couple with literally keeping the league alive helped a lot. I'm interested to hear the Chaos take
I *really* hope that Chaos doesn't go. Love the color scheme and love the name. The only thing they can change that I'd be okay with is the logo while I like it I can understand that the scorpion doesn't make all that much sense. But I did see a lot of suggestions on the broadcast last week about Chaos going to Connecticut, albeit they may not have been super serious.
@@OffBallLax Yeah unfortunaately Paul Rabil did say in a video on his TH-cam channel that he wasn't a fan of Chaos's branding. Which tells me that Chaos is one of the first on the chopping block to be rebranded as one of the older MLL teams...
Not yet. I think there might be an appetite in the future. I think you HAVE to keep an eye on Florida based on its growth and youth player counts. But the PLL has removed them from the finalist list so not next year. sorry :(
I was also hoping my home state of Florida would get a team, lets just hope maybe Atlanta gets a team, close enough to support them until Florida does get a team.
