We're living in the Jumbo-Visma era, classics, stage races you name it, they're outstanding, incredible tactics, got to give credit to the directeur sportif.
EF is looking really good this year. Looking forward to seeing the role of Carapaz in this years TDF. Vaughters wanted Carapaz but will he make him team leader over Uran...co leader? Can't wait.
@@samj1185 I like Urán, but he can no longer compete for GT GC. It seems to me he's only there because he's very popular in Colombia and one of the team's sponsors is the Colombian Ministry of Sports. Carapaz will undoubtedly be the team leader, I'd be very surprised if it would be anyone else. EF should be very active though. With riders like Bissegger, Bettiol, Cort, Honoré, Powless and Urán, they should be able to compete for a lot of stages.
@@andrasszabo1570 Yeah, I totally agree. Uran has had some good efforts but his GC time is waning. Hope they can support Carapaz well. He's talented and ambitious. Enjoy the season!
Lazkano what a ride. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone in a break away nearly all day, get caught and still have the power to attack like that. Incredible 2nd place. This was truly a fantastic race to watch, you just didn’t know what was going to happen, who would get caught, who would win. Great commentary as well. 🎉
@@daveyboy6210 It's infuriating. You open up TH-cam for some music or whatever and WHAM spoiled. It's too bad because I like their content otherwise. Had to Unsub and block them completely just because I live in a place where watching live racing isn't feasible.
John Wick or Christophe Laporte!!! Lozkano and Jorgenson in two weeks what García Cortina and Aramburu could not do in years, with Telefónica, Bahrain and Quick Step. Great race by the Belgian Tiejs Benoit, the American Powless, the Ecuadorian Narváez and the highly experienced Norwegian Alexander Kristoff. Pura vida 🇨🇷
Guillaume Boivin in Isreal Premier Tech came 9th.. Why is it showing Oliver Le Gac in the top 10? The french finished 24th and IPT even shouted out Boivin for his 9th place.

@@sudsehun76 Not really no. Kipchoge peaked at 38... And I've seen many athletes achieve their best performances at ages way above 30. 30 is a reasonably age to peak at. Especially considering that TJV probably provides way more professional and scientific training than Cofidis.

It's like Team Sky and Quickstep had a lovechild and its name is Jumbo Visma.
Yes but pogi
but that child is adult and self-contained
People seem to forget that this is Jan Raas's piece of TI-Raleigh...
changing your name from the disgraced rabobank... doesnt mean they changed their spots
Unlike quickstep and skye teams, TJV rides unselfishly and with sharp tactics.
The world of professional cycling is fast becoming The Open Team Jumbo-Visma championships...
What a race Lozkano!
Powless on the podium is encouraging

Yes!
I would listen to Matt Stephens read a phone book
Always good to hear Matt's thoughtful & detailed commentary. Thank you!
Powless having a phenomenal season so far. I mean, not Jumbo Visma phenomenal, but you can't count him out in basically any race with climbing now.
I just want to say a biiiiiig thank you to GCN for not spoiling the race result in the thumbnail 😌🙏

They did it in another post 5hr after race . I had 20k to go lol😢

I've been a fan of Kristoff since back when he always had his helmet crooked in the sprints.
Between Powless, Jorgenson, Simmons and Faulkner (recent DQ aside), USA is having a stellar classics season.
Don't forget Megan Jastrab 2nd place in Gent - Wevelgem!
Top Marks to Nielson Powless!!!! And TJV doing what TJV does
TDF 🥶 it's frightening...
and it's exciting 💪
VISMA letz go!!!🚴🚴🚴
I have to admit that I was cheering for Kristoff to go all of the way, but in the end there was no stopping the Jumbo Visma juggernaut.
Oh yezzzzzz happiness for me looks just like this guys, keep calm & love pushing pedals, riders need to know they are not alone Ok?
Thank you
What a great voice, is that Matt? I loved watching him fail to clip in. The cyclocross video is still comedy gold.
So far my early EF MVP I'd Powless
peter sagan did a fantastic job here
He didn't even start the race...
bravo tjv.. next flanders & roubaix!!

Mads P in great form the last 3 races

Pogacar. Pidcock and MVP have dominated the early season race as well. No one is dominating along
Laporte was left alone for the win it seems.

The one and only Matt Stephens!
Most of the comments are disgraceful about doping etc. Superior tactics, training etc keep teams ahead of the pack. It the same with any sport
Power od ketones

Everyone is hot on the doping claims, but where's the proof? Looks like Jumbo-Visma is the smarter team, for now. Just like their predecessors.
