Not making you feel bad for not being in the right financial position at the time. Cause that shit is real! I would have left shorty at home when I got there and it was someone else there.

the steakhouse/chili’s convo was too much for me because if she was expecting you to pay her back, she should’ve taken into consideration your budget. even if you were going to get paid soon that doesn’t mean you want to throw down $80 on one dinner. it was her birthday, but at the same time she was so adamant on you coming. everyone knows if you’re going to invite someone out who might not be in a place of abundance at the time then you have to compromise on what you do and where you go.
