Regarding your comment about Chiquita live, I agree with you 100%. I think is is because in the MV the production is overwhelming so we are unable to hear the texture of Chiquita's voice. We definitely hear it live though.
The special stage had a better mix in the sound. The original recording had Rami's part much softer than in this and they put too much effects on Pharita's voice right after the key change. This had the effects toned back on Pharita's voice and for the most part all of the mic levels were pretty equal for all of the members. That is mainly the reason that Rami's vocals really shined at the end of the song. She was doing the same runs and adlibs but because they mixed it really soft it was not as noticable in the studio recorded version. My hope is that the re-recorded version with Ahyeon is mixed much better than the original.
Honestly sounds even better than the M/V, how are they better live? They are amazing!!! I did not notice the "My Love" back and forth between Ruka and Asa in the M/V. Rami and the adlibs was amazing. They all did amazing.
Good evening. Saying Rami is a really good singer when there are 6 good singers in this group (once Ahyeon returns) is quite a compliment. But I totally agree with you. Since they have different tones they all shine with their parts in this song. I was surprised, pleasantly, with Ruka's vocals. Her English has improved so much. And Rora, my gosh! They way she sang in her high register (head voice) I would have thought it was her strength. We must also keep in mind that English is a second language for most of them so that makes it more impressive to me.
