For that large comforter get one of those vacuum bags that compresses large items into a manageable size. I store my winter linens in them & they work well.
I was watching another TH-camr just a little bit ago today and he was talking about another reseller getting in big trouble over not washing every piece of used clothing before selling them. Thoughts please? Apparently we are supposed to be putting a disclaimer or a statement in every posting that says item washed, and or steamed per eBay policy or something to that nature. The goblet reminded me of what they use in the Catholic Church at mass. Maybe that’s why there was only one. It looked like Louisville pottery actually, which is where I’m from.
@30:07 I was told vases and bottles with that type bottoms are nautical vases and bottles....so they won't tip over while traveling the waves in the waters 🤷♀️🤷♀️ I could have been lied to 😂😂😂
Iman sells on HSN, and typically both HSN and QVC lines have vanity sizing. It might be worth noting in your listings because everything I’ve purchased runs one size larger than normal. 💜
Hi Kat great variety of items love the blue vase and that basket with the dip bowl thank you for the video makes my day watching them as always best wishes and I hope you have a wonderful week 🐨🦘🇦🇺🥰
Thanks for another great video and sharing your knowledge! I just sold some fabric within 24hours of listing! I would have never picked up fabric had it not been for your videos . Thank you 😊❤
Hi Kat, Enjoy all your videos. Just couple things on the finds in this one: I think the 2nd hair receiver you picked up is a marriage. At quick glance, the bottom piece didn't seem to be decorated in a way to match the top. I could of course be wrong, but you might want to double check this. Also LOVE the etched/cut (?) glass sugar cube bucket you picked up at the end. IMHO, though, there is no way this is Murano. A sweet piece, just not Murano. Thanks for all the info you share with us.
Hint on vtg long sleeve velour or brushed lingerie... keep an eye out on the sleeves. The elbows can sometimes be worn through. . Karen Nueburger is about a small step below Stan Herman. Gl all thanks for your time a d video Kat.

Several of my thrift stores wash before selling, and from estate sales they're coming out of closet. For me if there's no odor or dirt and stains i don't wash. With true vintage items washing could damage so those we might not even with dirt/ stains. All clothing should be clean though before selling no dirt or odor. Same new with tags no way I'm washing that either
Any tips on getting rid of mothball odor? I bought a beaut iful vintage robe, part of the owners trousseau in 1960. I couldn’t smell it till I got home, but it does smell like mothballs. I’m afraid to wash it. I put it in my hot car for two days but that did not work.

Oh good to know thank you!
I believe that the clear glass item you said was a vase that you wanted to show Elena was actually a wine decanter
The clear glass vessel that you called a vase is really a wine decanter.
Sold a tapestry blanket for $20 profit. Would never have thought to pick it up if not for you. Many thanks!
Awesome congrats!

Thanks so much!!
Thanks Kat! Another great video! I love watching you shopping. The tips you share are alwats helpful too.😉👍♥️
You are so welcome!
That clear vase you liked is a wine decanter. Depending on the maker it can be good.
Good to know!
You need a vacuum bag expressor thing. Works great for large comforters. Great hall.❤
Yes we just got some that one is just like extra extra fluffy 😆 🤣 😂 😹

I agree with a pp. I think of linens more because of you. I made $26 on a pair of pillow shams that sold in under a month.
Nice!
I've seen the glass vase that you liked, sold as a carafe. I don't think it's a decanter because I've never seen it with a stopper.
I think the vase that you loved is a wine decanter
Do they have thick glass? It was close to a half inch thick i thought they were thinner?
Hi Kat great variety of items love the blue vase and that basket with the dip bowl thank you for the video makes my day watching them as always best wishes and I hope you have a wonderful week 🐨🦘🇦🇺🥰
Thank you! You too!
I found a sterling hand mirror in the tissue cover section a few years back,,,
Oh nice!
The hair receivers are antique, not just vintage.
What is a hair receiver?
Too ship the Oscar comforter, try one of those vacuum bags. 🎉
Yeah i got some I'm hoping i can fit it in there 😆 🤣 😂 😹 it's so fluffy
The antique hair receivers are kinda weird but cool. Also the glass vase is a wine decanter from Crate and Barrel. i have the same one.
Oh interesting it's such thick glass i didn't think it was!
