GOD FORGIVES AND GOD RESTORES. Don’t give up on the life you once imagined, even if you may have made some mistakes (and our kids are not the mistakes, our actions were the mistakes because it is God’s divine plan for us to have children in wedlock), God can turn any situation around if you recommit your life to Him and doing things HIS way♥️

I'm only 19 but when you spoke about kids I could relate. People always tell me ukuthi "Those who say they don't want kids are the ones who'll have many kids" like they always criticize me not knowing that the reason behind me not wanting kids is because of the way my mom raised me and having to grow up with an absent and actually having to fear ukuthi what if I treat my kids the same way my mom treats me in future, what if the father of my kids decides to not be a part of my kids lives, some of my friends even cutted me off because of me not having kids like them😭❤️

I had the same idea as U on adulthood approach when I was growing. I got married to an unconditionally loving husband & we now have two wonderful boy kids together. We love travelling to other countries with the kids to create memories, I feel that family is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm not as well up as U are Gugu, but our little family is well cushioned & we are taking our steps to greater success. I believe that if U are a principled lady, then you will definitely aim your goals. I also look back to my sixteen self & all I do is smile & feel so proud of myself. I just turned 25 and I have no permanent job. I genuinely don't think life is linear at all. It's hard and a bit discouraging. It's okay for you to have a vision for the life you want. There was nothing wrong with you saying that you wanted that. You're not crazy. People forget that we can have our own views about the type of life we want. It might not align with the views our friends have and that's okay
The part about you having children when you observe your circumstances , i can relate please dont try to explain to anyone this will result in you being frustrated. My peers have 21 year olds and started when we were at high school, its your life, what works for you won't work for the next person. I'm only 19 but when you spoke about kids I could relate. People always tell me ukuthi "Those who say they don't want kids are the ones who'll have many kids" like they always criticize me not knowing that the reason behind me not wanting kids is because of the way my mom raised me and having to grow up with an absent and actually having to fear ukuthi what if I treat my kids the same way my mom treats me in future, what if the father of my kids decides to not be a part of my kids lives, some of my friends even cutted me off because of me not having kids like them😭❤️

I had the same idea as U on adulthood approach when I was growing. I got married to an unconditionally loving husband & we now have two wonderful boy kids together. We love travelling to other countries with the kids to create memories, I feel that family is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm not as well up as U are Gugu, but our little family is well cushioned & we are taking our steps to greater success. I believe that if U are a principled lady, then you will definitely aim your goals. I also look back to my sixteen self & all I do is smile & feel so proud of myself. Not knowing what you're going through. You may be ready but circumstances arent allowing you. A child is no small matter. You can't say "O tla bona ko pele" not ka ngwana. Thank you for the sit down session, am also in the same boat turning 30 this year. Haven't even worked a permanent job but working an internship now which I believe will yield to a permanent job. I vowed to myself that I will never have kids until I am good financially and careerwise, I wish to get married as well before starting a family. People discourage me and say m running out of time but I would rather wait until i am okay then fall under pressure.
My 20s weren't enjoyable for me as i was struggling to get anything to work out but I believe my 30s going forward will be the best years of my life.
I am working hard to make life good for myself and I believe I will make it work ❤❤❤❤.

My husband paid a portion of the lobola in 2014 and i still waited till he paid the balance and we had a wedding in 2019. We welcomed our first child in 2020. Best decision i ever made🤞🏿
