    can you tell me about the raster file attribute which you used to co relate with the point check shapfile

      This raster is the reclassified raster file using Landsat 7 data.

    I have one doubt that for total true value you are adding highest no. of value or you are taking diagonal values? please respond

      I am talking about the diagonal values... The diagonal values are true value for each class other values than diagonal are the errors.

    This is a great video. I have 2 quick questions. The first one is if all true value points were selected by you randomly? ( I mean if we can pick some points by ourselves if we do not have true field data) The second question is can we check the accuracy for each landuse classification? (for example, check the accuray for cultivation and vegetation). I am looking forward to your response. Thank you very much!

      Yes, the points are random.
      For checking the accuracy of one class, you need to check the false positive and false negative values.

    This video is great! Question. If I am doing a change detection and have 2 images (before and after), do I need to do 2 accuracy assessments with 2 separate random point shapefiles, one for each photo? Thank you!!

      Yes, of course, you need 2 accuracy assessments. For that either you can use the same shapefile or different shapefile.

      Sorry, If you are following my tutorial, then accuracy represented by diagonal from upper left to lower right. Other values denotes the errors with corresponding classes. If you get the result something like you postex here, this mean you got more errors.

      This is the "error matrix" method. You can also use kappa statistics.

      @@geodev Very Nice video, Thanks alot. There is mistake in total sample value, should be 134. So total accuracy will be = 79.85%.
