I am teaching virtual classes almost every day for those who sign up for my Class Room at www.patreon.com/theVirtualViolinTutor
I invite you to join (with a symbolic cost) at least mode 1 that allows you to download the scores and audios that I use in the classes. In other modalities you have more personalized attention if you want a private guide.
    ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
HERE IS A BRIEF TALK OF WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
To play the violin we need a lot of discipline, it takes many years of practice.
We usually need a couple thousand hours of practice to be able to master anything in life - it is scientifically proven that to learn anything at a good or professional level we need more than 5,000 hours of practice! Then calculate how many hours a day you practice and how long it would take to accumulate five thousand hours of practice and be able to master the instrument at a professional level. What will definitely be necessary to fulfill this dream is to practice constantly. Perhaps this for many people is the first and the
biggest obstacle to reach the goal. That it is difficult to be aware of something that is not yet giving you results, you still do not understand where to start, that you do not have a follow-up line.
    Remember:
Correctly place the violin on the shoulder without lifting the shoulder.
The violin preferably with its head up and then we land it on the shoulder, we hold it with our head, slightly inclined while the body of the violin looking to the right, towards the audience, where we are going to direct our sound.
The violin is a sound box, it has two openings and when the string vibrates it produces a sound that spreads there inside the sound box and then comes out through those holes called "eSes".
It is very important to maintain a certain height of the violin that is preferably at the height of our mouth, our nose, and directed in this direction as our left foot looks.
    We must practice standing.
    Relax your neck.
Tune each string separately with your tuner.
We always tune "piano". We never force the sound - all with the weight of the bow.
You are looking at the tip of the bow where it is easier to control.
If there is a change of string, take advantage of the silence and make the change in advance. we have to look at the mere beginning and end of the note should not sound any "scritch / scratch".
The bow should not shake at the end of the notes. If it trembles, it means that there is something not resolved yet. Somewhere the energy remained, the attention and it has not been resolved. That is why it trembles - because there is still an unreleased tension
Try to imagine that the movement itself is a discharge. You play ... and at the moment of stopping the energy was discharged. A short move. You play only with the bow weight ... and it does not move
    absolutely nothing....
And another thing, look where they are playing! The point of contact that is not very close to the bridge because then the sound ... is much more difficult to achieve because the string at this point of contact with the bridge is where it vibrates the least. Logically it is as if you had put a vibrating string you had put your finger - where your finger is, you stop the vibration.
We drift away from the bridge ... a little bit towards the fretboard.
Remember that the arch has to be slightly inclined.
We return to the subject of the wrists. If your wrist is pointing down your bow automatically probably ... your bow is most likely facing the opposite side - out. You have to correct that with your wrist.
Wrist preferably slightly up - almost level with your arm.

Saludos
