This reminds me, many years ago, when I was little, I came to see Ronan Keating in concert with my father in Gstaad. I was a fan. Drawing in hand, stars in my eyes, I was able to miraculously meet him, making my childhood dream come true. Since time has passed, I have grown, I am an adult now but I still have these precious memories deep inside me. I lost my father this year and this song touched me a lot. This song brought back so many memories. Thank you very very much for this song and for all these precious memories...

I, too, had never heard of him until he was on Australia X Factor as Marlisa Punzalan's coach/mentor. That was in 2014. This version of Cat's song hits me hard. Ronan puts SO MUCH into the song, owns it, brings it to life much more than the Vevo recording. I was cheated of really saying goodbye to my dad. He fell down the stairs in his home and the previously mild Alzheimers nearly took his mind entirely. The man I once knew... gone. He lived another 9.5 months, but it wasn't really him. He perished while laying in a pool of blood and urine for three days at the bottom of those stairs, alone, unable to answer my phone calls. : (
