For those of you who don't know, the Cecil Hotel has 2 front entrances: one for the hotel itself and one for a hostel. The hostel part is actually supposed to be nicer (and a whole helluva lot safer) than the hotel part, but it sounds like Chilly stayed there when the hostel was in its early stage. So if you plan to stay there, make absolutely sure you're booking a room at the hostel and NOT the hotel......Elisa Lam made that mistake.
Yeah I'm glad you brought that up, if you look at the netflix show about the Cecil Hotel it talks more about the two entrances. The nicer one is the Stay on Main hotel for tourists, while the Cecil is for the tenants. It's really interesting since it's all in the same building, they're just on different floors.

There was a lot of different theories about her, one is that she was killed and someone threw her in there or she was taking medication then stopped or took too much then got lost and delirious and climbed in there, that is hard to say too though because she would have had to take off her clothes, open the lid, through them in the tank, climb in the tank, and close the lid again all while at the top of the tank and without falling so there are some confusing details
