    I appreciate how respectful you are of all of our efforts to enjoy and build our own home theaters and sound room. Respect to you sir. We all try our best with limited budgets,and you get that. You truly love this and it shows.

      Thank you. Like you mentioned, everyone has different budgets, room size and resources to work with. We all have to just do the best with what we have.

    That room is awesome! I am currently building out my theater room taking my sweet time and planning every little thing. Just put up my walls and purchased my speakers, klipsch reference speakers. Wont label them all here, but I am extremely excited! Thanks for the advice and inspiration your channel has given me to make this dream happen, gotten a lot of ideas from this channel 😀👍

    That's a beastly setup!! Auro 3D is currently only offered with Denon and Marantz at the moment. I could upgrade, but I don't have anywhere to put speakers. I can only imagine how awesome it sounds! Great video man!

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was pretty amazing Channa. I had only heard one other Atmos setup (SuperDave) so this was my first experience with Auro-3D.

    • @matthewlombax560
      @matthewlombax560 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are other options available in the market besides the ones you stated but comes at way higher price. Ultra high end processors such as Trinnov offers All of the three: Atmos 9.1.6, DTS X, and Auro 3D 13.1. And many more starting from 15grand all the way to 60.

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Wow, well above my budget. I believe the Denon 4400H and 6400H includes ATMOS and Auro 3D. These are the two I’m considering

    • @matthewlombax560
      @matthewlombax560 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Youthman Just looked up to it. The price of 6400H is a real bang for the buck. Will also be considering that for my upgrade over the Anthem AVM60. Only difference of 6400H to Trinnov 8-16 is the lack of rear channel support for Auro but that is fine and satisfying for me.

    Love your enthusiasm youthman. Just bought a house with an unfinished basement. I am putting in a 5.2.4 system. So far I have set up the Yamaha 3080, Klipsch 280f's, 440c center, rp 250s for surround, and 1 r-115sw, plan on getting another later. Watching on the 65 inch lg c8. My house already sounds like it's coming apart. Can't wait to add the Atmos speakers.

      @@Youthman Question for you. I'm loving the Klipsch 15 sub, but I keep seeing so much about the svs ultra 16. Looks like you've been rocking them. Do you think it's worth the switch?

    I'm so glad for you guys.
    nice hobby.
    I was once, around 1975 invited to a guy, who lives in a very old castle.
    imagine these gigantic entrance halls, stayrways lead around up to balconies, from where you enter in these mediaeval
    saloons.
    and in the four corners of the hall he had each a klipsch-horn.
    my first meeting with a big music lover.
    and the first time, I met klipsch-horns
    long time gone, but i guess, you would all have very well understood each other.
    thanks for these, mine, time - voyages.

      Youthman one more question for you. Pioneer has auto surround, direct and pure direct listening modes. I’m not sure what Onkyo has but I was curious what you found gave the best sound. I’ve currently switched from direct to pure direct. I find that the effects seem to sound much more natural.

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t use any processing presents, I just let the receiver choose the format like DTS-Master, Dolby TrueHD etc. for music, I prefer Stereo

    Dunkirk is a truly reference movie when it comes to sound even though it's only 5.1. It won Oscars for sound editing and mixing. If you have Atmos and upmixed the sound to all channels, there are some spectacular scenes. My favorite scenes were all the dogfighting ones and when an airplane was coming from far away to attack, the feeling of impending doom is heightened amazingly with the pounding soundtrack and with the proper bass setup, it is something to behold.
    You really can't tell that it is 5.1 because the upmixing does such a great job of placing all the different sounds in the appropriate speakers including the heights.

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Johnny, I have not seen the movie yet but will wait to watch it once I get the ATMOS speakers installed

    Thank you for that awesome video. I had the chance to have a local A/V company demo their Atmos setup. It was a dedicated theater room. And just as yourself I was blown away from the sound. Especially the overhead sounds. I'm sure I'll never have the opportunity to have my own Atmos setup, but I do have TH-cam to fall back on. And of course the Klipsch community on Facebook. Keep up the videos.

I have a Yamaha RXA3060 with an emotiva xpa5 gen2. Everything is connected to a PANAMAX 5400PM. I hope to have a dedicated theatre one day.

    Did he divide the 11.2 channels pre outs from the marantz preamp/processor into two emotiva's amps? can you do that? Can a marantz preamp/processor provides the 1.5 volts to each emotiva? Each motiva needs at least 1.5 volts to work at its full rated power. I would like to do something like that, but i want to be sure. Can somebody answer all my questions. I'm thinking about the marantz av7704 11.2 ch preamp/processor and 2 emotiva's amps (xpa5 and xpa2).

    I have the pioneer lx-701 and I have an emotiva amplifier xpa 3 5 channels
    Set of speakers are klipsch r7 II and the center is the 64II
    I think my receiver can only run 9.2 and I will like to run 11.2 or 7.2.4 adding the emotiva ,, if I use the emotiva for the front left and right and the center how do I add the other speakers ?? Can I still use the channels from the receiver the front left and right and the center to add the 7.1.4 ?? Please help ,, my other set of speakers are the klipsch 160m and I have 3 pair thank you

    Nice kit!
    I have B&W 702 S2 complete set-up and 2 svs 16-ultras best subs ever. I'm rocking an Anthem 1120 AVR. I gotta say I prefer the B&W look & sound to Klipsch but thats always comes down to personal preference. I'm very happy to have a dedicated room for all this otherwise I would never be able to crank it up more then 20% lol. All thats left now, is to pull the trigger on a projector set-up. I feel that a TV kills the full experience. Can't wait to see the next theatre kit you show us.

    Thinking of getting some panamax conditioners. Do you have some for your theater room? Do you recommend them? I have a total of 5 amplifiers and reciever, router, xbox, tv, Apple TV... list goes on. A lot of electronics that I don't want to lose...

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mendez, unfortunately, I have never owned any of the Panamax units myself but know a lot of guys do. The PR4300 has 9 outlets, surge protection, power conditioning and has 196 Reviews with a 4.5 Star Rating. It was $299 but is currently on sale for $225.00 - amzn.to/2L05mYC. It's a lot cheaper than the $400 PR5300 or $500 for the PR5400. Hope that helps.

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t use fancy surge protectors and line conditioners in my setup but I would recommend at least an inexpensive surge protector. We get a lot of lighting in Florida which can easily destroy electronics

    Hey what's up? Still waiting to hear back about the RP-280F's. Meanwhile I was wondering how much you know about klipsch warranties?... I'm going to order from them directly and want to make sure their warranties are legit first. Like if I blow a speaker do they fix it? Or how does it work?

      @Youthman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t received the RP-280F yet. Not sure when that will be. As far as warranty, I have never needed to use the warranty. Best to call Klipsch directly to inquire about their warranty

      @@Youthman Sure, makes sense. I am wondering what the differences are between the PRO 180 RPC and the CDT 5800 C III - you mentioned Nel was upgrading to the pro series. But the CDT is more expensive. So I am confused as to which one of those two is higher grade. To pair with RF-7 III mains.
      Also, for my rear surrounds, my current wiring is higher up on the back wall. So i am thinking rear surrounds angled towards ear level would be ideal. Trying to decide between the RP502S - mounted at a slight downward angle, or the wedge shaped RP500SA - which already has that downward angle built into it...

    Youthman I love your enthusiasm with HT/2Ch! This is an amazing set up that I wish I could hear in person. I do have one question though... the Marantz is a 11.2 receiver and he has 12 channels of amplification. I'm guessing there is a splitter for the center channel (main center and the in ceiling)? @Youthman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Antoine, I have owned Parasound, B&K, Sherbourn and Acurus amps and have equally been impressed with each of them for their sound quality and build quality. If you are looking to save some money, a used Acurus A200x3 would be great. It's the 3ch version of my A200 (200 x 2) amp. It's a beast. After hearing Nelson's system, I'm now a fan of Emotiva Amps as well. They sounded amazing! Here is their XPA-3 - amzn.to/2HGo59c. Nelson was using their XPA-5. It's a beast for sure. Hope that helps.

      Youthman I've been told differing opinions. I have 7.1.2 wanting to go dual subs. I have the pioneer elite sc-lx701 receiver. What are your thoughts? I appreciate your thoughts.

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      When I added my first Dual Sub, it not only added more tactile impact, but it also provided better bass response throughout the room. With a single sub, there are often dead spots, or "nulls", in your room to where the bass is very low or non-existent. Google "standing waves". By adding a second sub, if you have more than one listening position (in my room I have 6 seats), having multiple subs will increase the liklihood that every seat has adequate bass response. Hope that helps!

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I personally don’t think you need an amp for the your speakers. If you had the RF-7 Series, I would be more inclined to say yes since they have low impedance dips down to around 2ohms so they benefit from additional power to handle that load.

    Awesome video ! A lot question for you, i`m very young (small budget) I bought a pair of Klipsch R-28F, 1 Question - Do u recommend to upgrade to the R-280f or even the RF-7 III ? I personally thionks that the R-28F are very good but 2 question - when it gets around 108db (High volume) the sound starts to have some distortion but still sound amazing, i am using it with a Sony amplifier and with chromecast audio and spotify for the music ( I am only using my speakers for music) is it because because of the low quality of the chromecast audio which I think it is..... Thank you so much

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Charles. You have some great questions. Often times distortion comes at high volume because your receiver begins to “clip”. Basically the receiver is running out of gas and begins introducing distortion. The R-28F is Klipsch entry level line, the RP-280F is a mid tier and the RF-7 III is the upper tier. I have not heard the RP-280F but have heard the RF-82 which were in the same tier and they are fantastic speakers and were a great bang for your buck. I’m assuming the RP-280F would be similar. I don’t think it’s your Chromecast causing the distortion, my guess would be either your receivers running out of gas, or just the fact that those speakers aren’t designed to go that loud

    Hello youthman; definitely this home theater should sound like the gods, I have no doubt. But, I think the budget is not balanced correctly, it has a lot in audio and I think it is very poor in image. That TV would not generate the necessary immersion in a movie. With all the walls protrusions and irregular shapes, the open space in L shape behind the sofa, , no sound absorption setup, this is like driving a Ferrari in a traffic jam. You cannot use the capabalities of such system efficiently. Sorry if my comment is harsh, but I feel sad to see such effort (and money) spent in such material while not providing a decent environment for it.
