I wish Westfalia will make one with Ford transit AWD version. I will not hesitate to trade my Storyteller. Westfalia has been proven to last for decades.
@livefreevinnie You sound like you have same concerns about Sprinter as a viable platform in the future. Is your STO a Transit MODE LT? I have that concern along with STO phasing out Transit for 2024.
In Europe, Westfalia builds on FOUR van platforms: Fiat/Ram, MB Sprinter, Ford Transit, and VW Crafter. Since the North American vans will be built in the same facility as the Roadtrek vans, it's likely they will stick with the Promaster for the foreseeable future - but one can dream!
Front bench convertible to sleeping for 2 is amazing. But they cheaped out on the combo cooktop with tiny sink. Paniramic RV has a better layout - same front lounge with skylight (although the convertible bed is only for one small adult), bigger fridge, better cooktop/sink, large pullout pantry, but with east/west bed to enable these features.
I don't like these poptop vehicles at all. I wish more manufacturers would install elevator beds that store up near the ceiling when not in use, leaving you with a nice functional living/dining room during the daytime, and then when deployed at night (setting down on top of the living area), a nice large bedroom.

As a 6-grader Air Force BRAT (1975), we took a memorable two-week trip thru Europe in a VW Westfalia pop-top. As a 60 year old grown up in Omaha (Marine Veteran), I want this for a year long trip in USA!
Not. My fave. A pop up is a deal breaker. outside van was good. Storyteller is, too. No propane is my preference. There is something good about all of them.
Have 2021 Thor Tellaro 20A poptop with 800ah lithium, can run AC for 10 hrs, Starlink, etc been doing it for the last 3 years...what innovation are you guys talking about, sure the folding seat converting to bed is cool but all this layout and features has been around somw for more than 3 years...lol...real innovation would be Hymer Concept with the expanding bathroom and insulated poptop.
I love this Westfalia! It is a great design, but I don’t like the galley with the propane stove. I wish it had a portable induction stove with a deep sink with a cover that makes for a large usable counter.I prefer vans without propane.
In the video Len highlights the large garage area that can be used for bikes, but the garage area has no L-Tracks or tie down hooks. Without them the bikes would fly around and damage the vehicle.
Wingamm was not at this year’s FL RV SuperShow. What little communication I have had with the WIngamm USA team is they are working very hard to get those rigs over here.
Now that’s a winner for innovation! It really presses Embassy’s level of innovation too. If only they’d build it on a Transit chassis. However, the ProMaster should give really good fuel mileage. I wonder what its cold weather performance is like? Hooray for going a Truma! It appears an induction cooktop is optional.

Kindly speaking, I’m not a fan of the sink and burner combo, but admittedly, I’ve never used one like it. Also, I would like to see a small fold out bed rail on the bed platform. Just enough to keep my kid from bouncing off the floor haha. Overall I’m liking what I’m seeing.
No desire for a poptop (I have a hardtop Solis PX) so I LOVE this second bed option. As for the cover over the stove/sink, I'd leave it up and throw a raised cutting board over the stove. It's what I do now bc I rarely use it (and have a microwave on the cutting board). Love this one. Thanks, Scott! Good choice for the 🏆!
Favorite feature: Folding Bed. Don't need the pop top to sleep 3 or 4. Second: Rear bed design allows for numerous storage and cargo carrying options. Toilet is a good for winter camping or for people that just use it at night for liquids. Too bad the diaper genie toilets don't separate liquid and solid. The price of the disposable cassette is quite high for fulltime use.
Just want to say that going live was a fabulous way to give us the experience of the show....and hopefully less work on you. I just wish I could have figured out how to watch these live. Thx for all you do.

Like the floorplan, especially the seat that converts to another bed. The cover for the sink/burner would be better if it was split…as takes away from the counterspace when one or the other is in use.
This was the best vid /rig I’ve seen of the rv show vids out there -agree would like to see split glass top on stove and a mesh elastic net hold in that table top above for secure storage while traveling. ❤

L-tracks can be added, or will be coming standard. Cannot remember, but this is a prototype I think

Wingamm was not at this year’s FL RV SuperShow. What little communication I have had with the WIngamm USA team is they are working very hard to get those rigs over here.
The one thing I cant stand is a fixed sink in a wet bath. If you have to put one in make a flip down or don't include it at all!

You are right on the STO Groove Lounge, but they did not copy it jsut figured out a different way to solve the extra bed problem
