@@adinroam4064 because when jincuiki transform the injurys that they may have arent given to the tailed beast. and remember shukaku wanted to get out te whole time so with gaara in a weakened state it would be really easy for him to get out. and I'm pretty sure tailed beasts can channel their chakra to injury spots and heal them. and also during sasuke vs gaara in the chunin exams gara was hit it the chest by a chidori no exactly stabbed but still all he had to do to heal was transform
