I laughed my ass off at this video. I was there in 1972, in Miami, when Sabbath was live. I was 12 yrs old and never been to a live concert. There was an old wizard there, I'll call Gandalf, that had a "paper bag of wonders". Out of that bag he brought small sticks that those there lit with fire on one end and inhaled on the other. There was much smoke and all there coughed and laughed. I left there with a feeling I'd experienced something fantastic and that I'd never forget.

It certainly was heavy metal. It nearly had his hand off.

It was indeed written by the bass player; but his name is Geezer Butler. Bill Ward is the drummer. You're right though it was last minute. They needed one more song for the album and Geezer had a few lyrics already about depression; something he has struggled with his whole life. They had the song written and music to it in 20 minutes! Brilliant!!!
Back in that day, my boyfriend was going through BUDS and they played that song full volume to keep them awake. He could never listen to it again after that.

I Am Crazy But I Know That They Are After All Of Us and Every Person Needs To Stand Up and Speak Out Their Opinion. The Tip Top Government Is Not Your Friend. I'm Sure of That. I Love Rock N Roll and this Channel Too. ❤😊
They were first known as "Earth" until an All Night Film Festival changed the name! "Black Sabbath" was a movie made in 1947 Starring Boris Karloff-The Theme to the group depicts the Plot of that movie!
They are the originators of "Heavy Metal" without them no Metallica, Pantera, Guns and Roses and many others. Tommy Iommi the guitar player cut the tips off his fingers just before they made their first album and had to tune the guitar down (loosen the strings) because his fingers were tender, thus the sound of the heavy metal guitar was born, and Ozzy's vocals, legends.
My best friend's older brother gave me a copy of this album when he bought a new stereo system and all new albums. When I asked him why he picked me he said I was the only one of his brother's friends that would appreciate this music. It turns out that he was right. That was over 40 years ago and I still have it. I'll never stop being a metalhead. Thanks Robert
And that, my friend, was rock and roll. It’s 50 years old and still so relevant and still sounds as fresh as the first time I heard it. Your new word ‘paranoiativity’ made me chuckle. Think you can drop 6 letters Mr Video.
"Everyone is entitled to their opinion." My opinion is that I'm totally grooving to you headbanging to one of the best bands ever. You're making smile, man. You're making me smile.
That effect on the guitar was Tony Iommi rocking out!!! The few interviews I've seen of him, he seems so quiet and regal, but put a guitar in his hands and like a lion, he roars.

I love this mans authentic reactions. I also think he is hilarious sometimes by the things he says. Im still laughing after he did an Elvis Presley reaction and Elvis was thwoing some of his moves and thrusting into the air. And Mr. Video's reaction was on spot shocked and hilarious to watch. At one point he said something about Elvis making love to the air and he was going to have him a little avatar baby. LOL!😂 I listened to a wide genre of music growing up. I was born in the 80's but I have an old soul and appreciate music also before my time. Black Sabbath must of been so shocking to people when they first came out. And even after all of these years. Half the time I can barely understand what Ozzy is singing. But whats worse is when he isn't singing and he is just talking. It sounds like he is mumbling a bunch of nonsence words. He is pretty funny too. But honestly I have no idea what he is saying half the time whether he is speaking or singing. But I did like some of his music in Black Sabbath. Mr Video, Have you heard his song "Crazy" yet?

It was indeed written by the bass player; but his name is Geezer Butler. Bill Ward is the drummer. You're right though it was last minute. They needed one more song for the album and Geezer had a few lyrics already about depression; something he has struggled with his whole life. They had the song written and music to it in 20 minutes! Brilliant!!!
If you haven't yet, you need to react to Black Sabbath's "Iron Man."
Back in that day, my boyfriend was going through BUDS and they played that song full volume to keep them awake. He could never listen to it again after that.
Ozzy is one person who has followed his heart through his whole life and not CARED AT ALL what anyone thought and that and his amazing talent has gotten him everywhere
The cult - she sells sanctuary, You are missing out
A timeless tune, sounds like it could have come out this year.
Ozzy out there still Rocking 50 Years later. When you review those 70’s and 80’s bands out there check to see how many are still playing. Give some of them old timers props. AC/DC always a good one. Rocking til they literally started dropping. Saw them in 1984 multiple times after and agin around 2016 and Angus as much energy at 60 as 16! Great work on the reviews. Don’t get stale like some of the others keep evolving don’t be content ever.
Yes finally this
Into the void is another classic its groovy af
I actually hope that people starts to make music like this. I used to listen to rap and pop but then i found this kind of music and i fell in love with it. Im only 17 and i hope i don't have to listen to the same old songs in the future.
YESSSS... I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS RABBIT HOLE... GOTTA LOVE THE PRINCE OF DARKNESS, OVER 50 YEARS OF MAKING HITS... CAN'T WAIT FOR OZZY DIARY OF A MAD MAN
It's weird to have heard this song for the last 40 years and even though I've seen a video for this song, it wasn't this video, so this was cool to see this video. Great reaction
Tony Iommi - "God is not dead, He plays lead guitar for a band called Black Sabbath"
SWEET LEAF BY BLACK SABBATH. About the sweet marijuanskis
Fairies wear boots, war pigs, crazy train, Mama I coming home, close my eyes forever, iron man, paranoid, Black Sabbath, I could go on & on I love so many of their/Ozzy’s songs🤟🏼🥰🤘🏼
Geezer Butler one of the best ever rock bassists...and Bill Ward beating those drums like they owe him money!!! World class musicians.
New T-shirt: "Chills Activated"
Thanks for listening and giving your straight up opinion and feelings on one of the great songs of all time and the BIRTH of Doom Metal as we call it today... that tone effect Tony Iommi used on his guitar solo was a Ring Modulator, not very common anymore..... keep on listening, playing, groovin'... there is SO much more good ol' stuff out there!!!
Theeen you will love all Ozzys music. Ozzy is the lead singers band.
“Sweet Leaf”, please. ✌🏻💜🌱
“Iron Man” was the first Black Sabbath tune I’d ever heard. That’s a good one, too. 💜
You rock!. Mr. Video!
Just love the rasta attire!💛🎶💥✌

@@Isleofskye Thanks for Callin this 50 year old a young lady! You made my day! & Happy Life to you as well Sir!💫🦋💃💫✌🌈🧚♀️
The lyrics are actually "I tell you to enjoy life", though it can sound the other way as well if not focused. Awesome song though, and an awesome reaction from you, Mr. V.
DUDE!!! You're just about a metal-head... Next time, toss the hat and release your hair! Like Quiet Riot tells us, "BANG YOUR HEAD!" Metal health, my man... It'll drive you there! ;o)
"Metal Health" (Bang You Head) is a legit dose of metal mania!
I been so wanting to say this for so long. Leo, you are a metal lover, embrace it and enjoy 😀💖
Does He KNOW "Bang Your Head"??
@@alexandraaaron9705 I'm just gonna say, if he don't he should! It'll help the rest of his world make sense. ;o)
You just can't go wrong with Sabbath. They ALL bangers!!!!
yes, yes, yes
After 2 years. Still the best Paranoid reaction!!
Russian grandmother reaction is best
Black Sabbath is like Weed laced with LSD, enjoy the trip!
The guitar riffs and bassline from this and Crazy Train are so iconic. Heard them sampled so many times.
"Symptom of the Universe" is the jam.
My all time favorite from Sabbath.
My favourite too.
Yes! best Black Sabbath song is symptom of the universe. You have great taste.
Sabbath was the first heavy music I had ever heard when I was about 5 or 6 years old that along with Floyd and Zeppelin and the other great bands back then and 50 odd years later it's still the greatest stuff ever. Keep on rocking Mr V. Good times to come still ✌️✌️
Lol. Your reaction made my day and its only 11am.
My anxiety has been so crazy high for what feels like months. For the first time in a while i was able to just chill and binge watch you reacting to all this music. I love your energy and just wanted to say thanks for giving me some peace of mind for a bit.
Black Sabbath: Children of the Grave, Sweet Leaf, Iron Man.
I Am Crazy But I Know That They Are After All Of Us and Every Person Needs To Stand Up and Speak Out Their Opinion. The Tip Top Government Is Not Your Friend. I'm Sure of That. I Love Rock N Roll and this Channel Too. ❤😊
Lol this was my dads fav band as a kid lol now he only listens to country haha i only like old school country myself but i love all genres
Black Sabbath : War Pigs the truest rock song ever written!👍
I love and miss you Mr Video
Excellent taste in music brother. Would love to hear your comments on the Wizard.
black sabbath was first album i bought when i was 14 back in the 70's (album or 8 track) before even cassettes.
My dad’s favorite song. He wants this played at his funeral.
I have picked 'See you on the other side' by Ozzy.
Ozzys voice in sabbath, is so powerfull. I dont feel like his voice gets enough recogognition when it comes to his years in 70s sabbath !
The Sunday after Thanksgiving is Black Sabbath!!!!!!!!!
And that, my friend, was rock and roll. It’s 50 years old and still so relevant and still sounds as fresh as the first time I heard it. Your new word ‘paranoiativity’ made me chuckle. Think you can drop 6 letters Mr Video.
That’s DAMN RIGHT! Snowblind NEXT!
"Everyone is entitled to their opinion." My opinion is that I'm totally grooving to you headbanging to one of the best bands ever. You're making smile, man. You're making me smile.
Planet Caravan by Black Sabbath is pretty trippy, different side of them.
OHHHH Yeah!!! 🤘 Nice threads!😁
Thanks 😊 I
That effect on the guitar was Tony Iommi rocking out!!! The few interviews I've seen of him, he seems so quiet and regal, but put a guitar in his hands and like a lion, he roars.
2:10 "they think I'm crazy"
Goes into a head bang then something flys off of him. What was that?😳
Man that was super scary I. Just seen it
Shadow on the wall of something between him and the light, just a random floater. There is a white floater on the left of the screen at the same time.
Halloween season, All Souls Day too . . . Someone is in the room with him. 👻💀👹!!!
If you go back a little farther like 2:05 - it's just a black feather, probably from that wild jacket somebody sent him!
Wtf I saw that
Watching your videos is like showing a friend your favourite songs and actually having them appreciated :’)
This is the first song every noob with their first guitar learned to play back in the day. 😎
That or Smoke On The Water.. lol
And as a young noob with my first bass guitar I was happy to play along
I was lucky enough to see Black Sabbath in 1971 when they opened for Leslie West and Mountain in Dallas. . . . 4 hour concert for $4 a ticket, lol. It was great
also if you want to listen to a song with some Incredible lyrics I suggest “war pigs” by black sabbath
YES!! Lyrics only not the fan made video =)
LOL!😂
I listened to a wide genre of music growing up.
😳😳😳😳😳 2:05-2:15 more or less, uh am I paranoid or are you not alone? There is a light orb and a dark little grey anomaly in the shot with you! Look closely ma dood
I saw it!!!!!
@@paulm9072 Right! I see these more and more in videos
Yup, I commented on another of his videos, when he did Queen, live aid video I saw one as well.
@@julesb1970 I’ll check it out thanks 🙏
I saw it too 👀😳
Black Sabbath-- War Pigs is a masterpiece....... Love the reaction.... It's BRILLIANT.....!
If you like this, Ace of Spades - Motorhead would probably be a good listen
The wizard, N.I.B, war pigs, children of the grave and into the void are some great songs to check out! Black Sabbath are amazing!!
OZZY was so young....
Welcome to Sabbath land. Their first six albums wirh Ozzy are MONSTERS! I advise you to dig deeper.
You *need* to react to "War Pigs" and "N.I.B.", otherwise, your life won't be complete
Yes!! War Pigs with the lyrics only not the fan made video 👍
Agreed 💯
Finally!.. My favourite heavy metal band of all time!.. Black Sabbath are THE GOAT!!.. You gotta do "Fairies Wear Boots", "Children of the Grave", "Into the void" ... Black Sabbath only do pure Metal magic!
This is a road you really need to go down! They have so many hits its unreal and they are the fathers of heavy metal! I will echo a few other comments and say you will absolutely love Sweet Leaf!!! LOL! Its got one hell of a rhythm I know you will love!
YASSSS, OZZZ Time!
Thanks , Mr. Video for the reaction. Hope you are doing well there. Sounds like you might have a little cold with sniffles. Plenty of chicken soup, or broth . Gets the job done ,most times.
Sending my love to you and all the Leo fam.
Black Sabbath defines metal. I can’t wait to watch you go down this rabbit hole. “Changes”, “Planet Caravan”, “Supernaut”, “Solitude”, “Tomorrow’s Dream”, I mean you could just do their first four albums track by track if you wanted to and I’d fuggin watch!
