Joe is a man of God. That is rare in today’s day and age. He sees Jrue wife he gives her a hug? Jrue see his wife and he gives her a hug? That is the ultimate compliment of respect in 2024 in my opinion. A western woman who is trusted enough by the husband to embrace and hug one of his true friends. This is not the Celtics year, this is ordained from God and destiny

Go back and look at game 6 of the finals against the Warriors. Jaylen scored 35, Tatum scored 13. Don’t act as if this is the first time you seen that killer look in Jaylen’s eyes. He had this same look in the last Finals. You guys act as if this dude has not played his tail off on both ends of the court to win games. Ask yourself when is the last time you seen Jason Tatum run full court to block a shot to try and save a game. You will never find a tape that shows him doing it. And it’s because Tatum doesn’t hustle like that. Period!

Joe it’s not about American. It’s about the Great ones that came before Tatum. You are coaching a legendary Franchise with names like Larry Bird who put up big numbers during the playoffs. So, don’t try to cover Tatum. If you put that uniform and you have been named the best player then you have to go out and put up big scoring numbers. It has nothing to do with American and I’m pissed that you would cover Tatum from the Great ones that came before him. Joe shame on you and you stupid comments about what a best player is suppose to do for his team.
I agree to an extent, but we can look at one of Larry's finals performance himself to see how narrow-sighted focusing purely on scoring numbers is. In the 1981 finals, Larry averaged a mere 15 points a game up until game 6, on only 40% shooting. This was because of how he was being guarded, and Larry was getting a ridiculous amount of attention every time he caught the ball. Because of this, all of his teammates were able to have a career series. Larry ended up leading his team in rebounds and assists instead, because he was making the right play every time instead of forcing the issue. I'm not saying that Tatum is the calibre of player that Bird is, but he's been doing the exact same thing, and that's why Jrue, KP and JB are consistently getting quality looks while Tatum is averaging close to a triple double through these two games.

Tatum average a double double in the ECF :30.3 pts , 10.3 Rebs and 6.5 assists, better numbers than Brown who win the ECF MVP. He lead the team in Ppg, assists and rebounds in the playoffs off 2 seasons straight . If it was Embiid, Joker , Lebron , Luka or ANT , Nobody will look at this stats line and say he’s not playing great or he is not The best player .
In the Finals he averaged almost a triple double , I remember people praising Jokic with the same stats line over Murray saying he can impact the game in "so much different way" and he is the best in the league lol, but when it comes to JT , they changed their narrative.
Let’s be honest right here , if Tatum just got only 2 three point more by game he will be best scorer in the series ; just 2 threes. And he got a better +/- than Brown in this finals .
Like I don’t know what people are talking about .
This is why I m no longer into American sports. They make it seem like these are people about to save the world. What’s all this crap.
