  • So I now have acquired MPC stems for my Mpc Key 61. I like it but problems have already tried to show their ugly heads . What's been your experiences? COMMENT BELOW

I like serato sampler for doing the same thing as MPC stems. It's faster and then you can just load the individual sounds into the MPC. Also using studio One melodyne or standalone melodyne you can convert wave forms into the midi notes so you can use The same melody you sampled on a different instrument. MPC sound is king on drums IMO but there's better workflows for sure!

@apextraxx2903 I hear alot of people talk about Serato, ima have to try it eventually. Like I said I like mpc stems for what it is and what it does but it needs a Lil more work.

@@BuckpLAYZnOGAMEz yea it's nice for a computer based workflow, IMO the best in that regard. MPC definitely is the best for standalone tho especially with stems. If MPC supported 3rd party plugins I'd got standalone in a heartbeat.

This seemed less about stems and more about sampling being lazy or not allowing creativity. Sampling doesn't ban you from ever making a non-sampled beat nor is it like illegal or something to play notes on top of a sample, especially if you aren't taking the busiest parts or you're really manipulating it.

Great Video.Musicianship goes a long way.I like being creative by recreating the sample live with changes.

@producer21207 oh yeah! The feeling of accomplishment is much higher when you can take a sample and make a new sound of it
