I think in some cases the masking tape is better. I'm glad to hear it works well for you. I've been experimenting with 3d printed bungs a friend made for me.
@@rockbottomairsoft yea man masking tape works well as its strong enough to stick and hold the bbs in place but also just come right off when the gas shoots, definitely a lot cheaper than buying more bungs lol
My friend has an under barrel unit and the multi purpose shells (same as your gold shells). He uses biodegradable bbs, not the paintballs. As a cap for the shell, he wads up newspaper, toilet paper, or even paper towels. Adds to the biodegradability instead of leaving plastic caps all over the field.
That's a really good idea and would work well I imagine. I used to use insulation tape which held most of the time after firing and then could be stuck down again. A friend recently 3d printed me some biodegradable caps which I have yet to try out.
Hi, I'm sorry I can't be more help but I don't tend to use co2 in my shell. It's capable of it but it's not something I've done yet. Guys at site use co2 and it certainly works well. As far as I know they use an adaptor with a standard co2 bulb.
Been on the receiving end if both. It wasnt pleasant. But they are pretty awesome. They do make a distinctive noise like you say. A10 on the Airsoft field🤣.
@@rockbottomairsoft yeah my friend owns the Master Mike or I call it the Magic Mike because it makes the girls scream 🤣🤣 I think the loading process is a lot easier too. Hahaha. I hadn't heard that. However that would certainly explain the lack of stock. I know a lot of sites don't allow them which would make them hard to sell I suppose.
@@rockbottomairsoft just the 40 mikes I think are banned for indoor sites i think. I know that I had to buy my tornado 2 from a friend who had a crazy amount of them. But they are definitely worth the money
Thanks I'm glad you liked it. I will be honest I've been on the recieving end of a master Mike but never used one myself. If they are anything like other Airsoft Innovations products I've used they will be good quality. Not owning one myself I couldn't say whether I recommend them or not. I know from the field they create an awesome spray of bb's with a distinctive sound. Stings a bit when you get hit but not to bad. I have nothing against them in game if they are used sensibly. I will maybe get one and let you know how I get on with it.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. As far as I know they can take a .68 caliber paintball which I think is approx 17 mm diameter(someone could correct me if I'm wrong). I know there is 3d printed options for bungs or alternatively a small piece of electrical tape works as well. Failing that replacement bungs can be bought in packs of 10 from most suppliers(think ASG branded). I hope this helps.
If your referring to TAG rounds and that type of thing then my honest answer is, I've not tried it. I don't use tags myself. However I know that you can get a shell that will launch tag rounds. The shell fits in standard 40mm launchers and works off gas. So by that logic you should be able to. The shell is not cheap though and then you have to buy projectiles on top of that. I hope this helps.
I know this is a uk site but the price will come in under $200. These are generally available but I link this site as it gives a bit of info. www.airsoftworld.net/tag-innovation-co2-pro-evo-shell-launcher-single.html This is basically the "shell" I was referring to. Its the cheapest way to get a TAG capable launcher. You load this shell into any 40mm launcher of your choice like and m203 replica and it will fire exploding TAG rounds or any tag round. Hope this helps.
Recently got the cyma pistol launcher myself and I do use masking tape over the top of the ASG shells, works really well.

I couldn't agree more. The cost of those bungs if you buy them is crazy for what you get.
have you tried using cotten balls?

Cheers!

Yes I like the tornado 2. I have the original but to be fair I don't use it that much. Still a very cool device though.

So close to the real thing... As a matter of fact...
The TAG rounds certainly lend a bit more of an air of realism. These aren't bad though.

Different rocket launchers

but all the 40mm grenades sell out within 5 seconds lmao
Hahaha, I've been finding a lot of gear selling out recently.
@@rockbottomairsoft do you know why? I can't find any reason
I'm not totally sure. I think it has something to do with the pandemic disrupting supply chains and now they are just trying to catch up.
