besides the on-point instrumentals, the show itself, noah's vocals ect. my favourite part has to be the end verse where all three of them are singing, their voices are all so on fucking point live and in studio but something about the way they performed that verse was just *chefs kiss*
Hi Travis and Suzie or is it Susie? I'm just now getting to see your reaction to Elvis's "Love Me Tender" and I'm cracking up at you guys! I grew up naturally acknowledging that Elvis should be worshipped as no other.. My mom had 5 sisters and 2 of them got to see Elvis in concert and got kissed and one got a scarf from around his neck. I don't know for sure if Elvis started it, but it wasn't that unusual for some male performers to kiss the women in the audience during a show back then. I know Tom Jones did it, and probably some others, because it seems kind of normal when I watch it. 🤗 When Elvis came on the TV, you got those rabbit ears lined up and wrapped in Reynolds Wrap, and the whole family sat mesmerized watching. His "Aloha from Hawaii" special was the first ever tv special shown around the world via satellite with some insane number of viewers, like a billion, seeing it live. I will never forget finding out that he had died. My stepdad came upstairs and woke me up to tell me. That's how serious the news was. I don't think I had to go to school that day. Mom's 5 sisters came to our house the next night and they held a wake for Elvis. They sent me and my siblings and cousins upstairs with snacks and told us to have a "kid's party". Meanwhile, it wasn't long before we heard 6 drunk women singing various Elvis songs and occasionally do some wailing, and this went on for most of the night. Eventually they didn't give a rat's hind end that we came downstairs and joined in. We wanted to sing and moan and wail for Elvis too! 😬🍺🍻🍹🍷
