Ferrari FF Review - Can You Fail To Fall In Love With This Ferrari V12? | A Second Opinion!

  • In today's video, while filming a JayEmm On Cars Ferrari FF review, James finds out that Ant is not a fan of the Ferrari FF - a Ferrari car with a V12, 4 seat and a shooting brake design. He first tries to convince him otherwise. The sound of this Ferrari FF has been enhanced with a Novitek exhaust system, making the Ferrari V12 exhaust sound even more special! But, Ant wouldn't let that sway him... So there's only one option and that's to put Ant behind the wheel and see if it's possible to not fall in love with this V12 Ferrari!

    The Ferrari FF is a master talent - an unbelievable combination of talents! If somebody is not sure - try it out. I drove it for a couple of kilometers and the case was clear for me. My number one.

      Is great. I'd still choose an F12 over the FF but, it's a great car for sure!

    That wide-angle interior driving shot looking forwards is very cool, worth the cost of the pan roof just to do that!
    Great review, gave a good sense of what seems like a very desirable car.

      Ah, I filmed these with the Insta360 One X2. Still experimenting with how to use them here. It's unlikely they'll find their way into the main channel as there's a little more work in post production before you can edit with them.

      Man, I've always wanted one! My friend who worked for fiat came from Italy and had one from dealer and drove it from NJ to CA lmao. He said surprisingly held up but there was a cooling system prob w a sensor( I think dct) which was throwing lights but otherwise held up well. I drove it part of the way from LA to SF and I fell in love with it! Way more comfortable than many supercars I've ever driven. Not as comfortable as some straight up GT cars like Astons but for a car with that much power, that amazing sound and for a Ferrari it was incredibly able to daily drive. Put it in comfort and it was perfect for cruising. Put it in sport and you feel it in your spine haha but it turns into that modern Ferrari feel. Man, I hope you enjoy every second! Cheers

    The best real world all round car that Ferrari have ever built. Not the fastest, not the prettiest, not the most desirable. But it does everything so well that I have no idea what I'd ever replace mine with. When you look at what an E63,RS6 or B5 Touring cost now new (and the rate at which they depreciate) and you realise you can buy an FF for the same (or less) it becomes a no brainer. That's if you can find one. There are a little over 200 of these in the UK and there are so few for sale becuase once you own one you never want to get rid of it (as long as it's healthy!).

    • @hpman911
      @hpman911 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think buying one is the least of your worries! The real expense comes with the subsequent running costs ie fuel, insurance and maintenance etc ..

    • @RedC220
      @RedC220 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Insurance is the same as my SL400 was and less than a Taycan 4S we had for a short while. Standard service is £1000 every 12months/12000 miles (at a main dealer - but was free for the first 7 years of it's life) with a big service every 4 years at £2,500 (again at a main dealer). I average 16mpg doing around 800 miles month. The reality isn't always the same as the scare stories on the internet. Sure you could have a major problems, but you can have that in any high performance car. The most important thing is buying a good one that's actually been used and well maintained. The bizarre obsession with super low mileage Ferraris leads to more issues than one that's had use and good maintenance. These aren't the delicate flowers they were pre 1990's they are well built reliable cars considering the performance. Put it this way, my FF has so far been fault free. My brand new Taycan 4S spent 3 of the first 4 months of ownership trying to be fixed before it was sold back to the dealer.

      @@hpman911 well, based on James's experience, it's the repair and rebuild bills on the transmission... But worth it if you plan to keep it long term.

    Nice concept incorporating friends - but I can’t help thinking the ‘friend’s opinion’ is our role as viewers to have and to hold and I watch Jay Emm to hear his opinions - not anyone else’s.
    Everyone has an opinion - and I press play on one of Jay Emm’s videos to hear his!

    • @sportzntouring
      @sportzntouring 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the feedback. However, that's what JayEmm On Cars is for... Just James's opinion. That's not changing. For those who are interested in a contrasting opinion on exactly the same car, filmed on the same day, under the same conditions, this is one place they may get it... That's just not possible from the comments section.
      And, this channel actually helps make more JayEmm content possible... Because these videos are filmed on the days I help James film the cars for his main channel (that's often me driving in the fly bys when press cars are involved). It's one of the reasons this channel is a joint venture... So I can justify giving up a day's work on my own things to help James on his. So, by supporting this channel, people are supporting more driving content on the main channel.
