I believe the lipos are high volt lipos and judging by your take off voltage I think you may have just charged them to 4.2 volts instead of 4.35. Could be part of the shorter flight time. These little lipos are also terrible in the cold so I could definitely see that being a factor. I'm from Canada and there's a huge difference in my flight times from summer to winter 😂
They were charged with a 1s hv charger so they were 4.3 before flying, maybe I let the drone sit for longer than the usual flyer, place it on the ground, make sure everything is recording and sync the video, takes 30s/ one minute and the 250mw vtx may discharge the battery a little
Absolutely the cold may be an issue too but it's 5/10c, so not that cold, and the batteries go from indoor to my pockets to the drone, so that's minimal
Yep , sure doesn't look like winter in the video.. already a foot of snow on the ground and -20C here. Avg is 0 for this time of year so the feds can take that "global warming" bs and stuff it and their carbon tax. Make sure your drone isn't locked to Colonists Edition due to the filthy Canadian regulations like the DJI is forced to do to sell them here - It takes more power to try and maintain a weak signal than it does when using a strong one. You'll notice you get a lot more range and flytime out of it.
Our winter in Italy rarely drops below zero luckily, but where I live don't see snow often and that is missed ahahah I believed you had FCC full signal in Canada, we have ce regulations that limit output to 25 mw, but everyone just ignores them cause is bs
@ does anyone listen to the regulations? 😂😂 that being said a lot of the time all you need is 25mw while flying whoops. We are expected to have snow this weekend and feel like -6…..
@Rimzler actually no. It was genuinely enjoyable to watch! I think you make it still feel entertaining and every pilot goes through bad days. It is only a wholesome thing when it does happen :)
Ahhahahahahaha crash is part of FPV anyways, don't know if the frame is resistant or not tho, first one broke with nothing, second took a beating and still in one piece
I think meteor 75 will be the most balanced TinyWhoop. It can fly longer on battery. And there are many spare parts available for this model. This is important because these drones are often bought to learn to fly. I broke many propellers and frames, and also broke the camera once.
He flew a couple of times since that day and stopped, it's been a couple of weeks I don't see him anymore, but have his number now, will organize something for sure!
I wish I watched you review this before I watched you review the oaisis25. After seeing you go through so many problems and calling it fine now I know why it’s 2 weeks and I already want a different frame. I can’t trust these reviews anymore
I try to make reviews you can trust, am transparent about the issues I find Oasis 25 is great, just a bit heavier than I like but other than that flies like a rocket, so why are you dissatisfied with it? This nimble is a good tiny whoop, flies great and camera is good, I encountered 2 minor issues that didn't change what I think about it A frame broke, that could be misfortune, strain during shipping, the second one held up great so I can't say is fragile, and a bad crash can happen with any drone, sadly can't crash test them with repeatable conditions The elrs not binding immediately was fixed by binding a bit further, no issue anymore, I don't know the cause so I can't point fingers to sub250, maybe is my transmitter I say a drone is bad when it's tuned bad or worse it has some big design flaws like many time happened, this was not the case
@@Rimzler the mob 8 and this drone. Look very similar, have the same analog camera, but the mob 8 can Run on 2s 550mah and easily get 4min of flight time. For a very reasonable price for bnf 👍
@chrisbee5481 yeah true, mob 8 is better out door. I do fly mine indoor aswell but I open up the windows in the house and use the garden and house together 👍
Sub250 company is a joke. Terrible customer service, refuse to reply to emails until they have been chased numerous times, and ignore questions asked in emails when they do eventually reply. They are slow to ship, even slower to provide tracking, and when they eventually do provide tracking it is a lot longer than they originally suggest. Avoid this cheap chinese company.
Wow thanks for the feedback, what happened, I find all shipping coming from China has been unreliable lately, something arrives in days , something in weeks because of customs
@@Rimzler The shipping isn't the issue, it is the communication. Every email I have sent them has gone unanswered until I chase them, and the information they provide changes with every reply. I purchased the oasisfly25 and it's great. If only their customer service was as good.
Yeah i agree.. I just got my dollyfly25 after a month. Used their 8% off code which was roughly 44€, one week later they tell me to pay extra 40€ in express shipping. After 11 days they shipped it after they have told me shipping time is 10 days. Batteries still wasn’t shipped after 18 days. The day after my email to them about the batteries which wasn’t in the first shipment i finally got a shipping number for them.. they did send me two extra batteries though so we are friends now
@@robinb4828 Yeah, spot on mate. Pretty much the same as me. When they told me delivery would be 10 days, more than that had already passed. They also charged me $30 extra for shipping after telling me if I ordered they'd give me a discount. Batteries thankfully came in the same box as the quad, but 1 was faulty and I told them about that over a week ago and they still haven't shipped it. They've only just supplied tracking after I threatened to go through paypal to recover all of the money for terrible service. Good quad, terrible company.
In my experience if these companies don’t offer DHL international shipping don’t even bother. Yes it’s the most expensive option but it’s the only shipping option that has arrived quickly with no issues. Worth the money in my opinion
OMG I had to dig deep to find info about it, thanks for the correction! Damn why we need so many similar connectors, they basically added a notch to bt2 and called it a day, they are even intercompatible
@@Rimzler Its silly. And EMAX just created a new one that is not compatible with either. A30 is an opensource bt2.0 alternative allowing companies to not have to pay betafpv to use it.
Air65 is lighter and a little more efficient because of barebones canopy and worse camera, so have to consider the tradeoff, it also has external receiver while sub250 managed to stick vtx and receiver in the same board, but it's a little more power hungry, not bad for their first tiny whoop tho
i like the canopy XD its actually both cute and cool looking XD. great video as always man!
Thank you so much for watching! Yeah cool design for sure!
That looks awesome mate
another awesome video as usual! :)
Thank you so much! I crashed a lot cause my fingers were cold, hope it was still fun ahaha
My small quad that usually wont arm in the grass and my dog would love your grass!!!!
Ahahhahahahaha my grass is short enough to take off from most times
Awesome video!!! 🎉
Thank you!🫡🫡🫡

Ahahah I'm glad they are lol, I Always feel like is a bad video when that happens

@@Rimzler true! Oh. I guess time will tell
If you stood inside at the patio window would that interfere with the signal?
Of course anything in the middle between the drone and you is gonna affect the signal
@@Rimzler Thank you.

A bigger whoop will fly better of course and more efficient
What makes this a " Winter Drone," though? The batteries will be at risk regardless if they are cold enough.
Because it's main purpose is to have fun indoors, so while it snows/rains can still fly
WIll you test new meteor 75 pro with new aio 5in1 matrix?
I will be and comparing it to the previous version 👍
Thank you for the suggestion! I'll check it out!
Where do they ship from? (to know about customs charges)
They should ship from China
looks like 2025 is gonna be the year of the tiny whoop!
2025 is gonna be the year of DJI o4 ahahahah
ok now we need the collab with paramotors that you promise 😂

whats the fastest o3 drone u have flown

any bind and flys?

Absolutely, will look into it thanks!
Dude, get to flying sooner next time please. I need to see them chickens!!!!!😂

Best To go with the mobula8 👍

@smika710 ok ok then a30 has a reason to exist, and glad it's intercompatible, shame betafpv for making proprietary connectors
This cant beat the Air65 or mobula6. Too heavy. The competition has years of experience making FCs and generally shaving off weight
