I wonder if you ever compare your old work with the new stuff you're making and get the same chills, atmosphere and emotions. I highly doubt it. Not hating btw, but as someone who followed you since 2011 i just can't get my self to like this.

​@@henkie8550 I've done a lot of hardstyle in my years, some of it gives 'chills, atmosphere and emotions" and some of it does not.
Since day 1 i have always done a variety of styles in my music..
I'm pretty sure my 'running late remix of 2011', does not give any of those vibes you mention, because its intention was to be a hard hitting track which gives 'tension & aggression'.
And to answer your question, the last track i released before this one 'for a lifetime' definitely gives me 'atmosphere, chills and emotion'.
But i'm sure you know, music shifts like fashion and of course i know that people that were around 10+ years ago, miss the old style, i also miss so many different music era's from my youth, but music moves forward and we continue to create new musical pieces that speak to the current market

@@codeblackmedia Hey Corey, first of all thanks for the reply.
I think it's funny you mention your running late remix, because i actually really liked that one back in the days, just as many other rawer tracks that DID have emotion/soul even tho they were harder then most of the stuff released back then. Getting emotions from a track for me does not mean that is has to be a track like for example brighter day.
And what you mentioned about the market and the comparision with fashion.. i think it's sad producers make what the market wants them to make just so stay relevant and get bookings, but i understand you need to keep on earning a living as well. Is 'moving forward' always a good thing? No, sometimes you need to take a step back to move forward.
You were my absolute #1 with your own sound but this for me just sounds like every other over distorted hardstyle nowadays.
