Thank you for sharing my space!! I’m in the full brick house, it’s in Manchester UK and the pictures were taken a week after moving in so we have updated it since then :) We’re gonna reupholster the sofa so will send those pictures in for the next video
I am so fascinated by the bricks on the ceiling! Did you ever worry about one falling out? That's where my head goes...and, yet, I also want to experience being cozy inside an all-brick space.
Love how realistic you are when reviewing other ppl's homes. FB constantly feeds us this polished image that only leads to dissatisfaction whereas you do the opposite, encouraging ppl to use what the have a still achieve a great look. Thank you Paige!
That golden hour photo is SO GOOD. That lighting makes the various warm browns and creams look so good! And the blue carpet is amazing contrast against the warm/golden tones.
Note: cardboard is full of acids, and will eat away at the poster. So sure, use painted cardboard if you are going to throw away the poster in a couple of years, but if it has value, you should mount it with acid-free materials. You can buy the acid-free materials and frame it yourself.
Came on to say the same thing.... DIY the framing only if you don't care at all about the longevity of the art. If it's a peice you might want to pass on to kids and grandkids, pay for the professionals
If folks are looking to save $$ Michael's etc will let you do fast framing where you bring or buy a frame there and your art and they will do the custom mat for Cheap. I will say though they take apart the frame so not all frames can handle that process. You can also just buy the custom mat board and diy yourself. Wear gloves, there's an preservation spray etc but yeah if it's valuable, pay someone and skip the fancy stuff like the beautiful metal rivets which I've done but they're ridiculously $
There are different styles of the tension lamps. I got one for free because it was very granny with its milk glass, hob nail globes and orange wood. I sanded the orange finish off the wood, spray painted the shiny gold parts to a nicer gold which also helped cover the wear/rust and replaced the shades with normal linen looking ones and I really love it!
people here make such cool stuff. all the art! that illustrated plates will haunt me, so good. and the yellow kitchen from Stockholm is gorgeous, bravo!!
Um, yes please, paper weaving. I love it. Could you collab and put out that pattern in a shower curtain, handle towels, or maybe placemats?! Lovin’ the inspo in this video. Thanks!
Ooo! Thanks for featuring my stairs. A million times better than the carpet… Also I really like this style of video. Fun to see interior design in the wild.
lol the intro - made me think of Glorilla,TGIF....it's 5PM - Wednesday, 67 degrees. I ain't got no decor, and no decor ain't got me (so I watch paige for inspo)
Thanks for including my kitchen in you video! Such a fun and surreal experience to see those yellow cabinets on the screen and hearing your nice comments about them. I love your videos, they are allays the best way to end my Sunday evenings with 🫶
@@flyingeden They are Beslag Design. Thought about those for my IKEA kitchen fronts, but I wasn't sure if I could use them as you have to srew then in from the front.
Wow... to find a Wassily chair on the street... Dream! Mind you I did find a tramp art shelf unit on the street once. You have some pretty talented viewers. I particularly loved that yellow living room
I'm so excited for the Brimfield video! We met quickly while shopping for the German beer garden table. Update: I did buy it, I did ship it to Portland and it did cost an arm plus also a leg! 🙃
I can't believe that people are shipping beer garden furniture cross country ahahaha. As someone from Germany where we keep our shitty beer garden banks and tables in some garden shed. 😄
the clips ??!? a trully golden idea, i was looking for a way to decorate my desk and i draw/write/always am with something cooking : now i know how to solve this problem of decorating but in a really practical way to do it, thanks !!!
Great video! The correct pronunciation is "wa-si-li" chair. It's named after the russian artist Wasilly Kandinsky (in russian we say Va-si-li) Thank you for the cool suggestions :)
I have walked by this Hillstrom home so many times in Minneapolis and knew it had recently sold. So cool to know the insta page for their updates! thanks!
okay i'm sorry but the yellow living room with the bookshelves ---- the color in book spines is okay!!! book spines are great!!! you don't need to turn them around so you only see the paper page sides! that's crazy!!!! it's giving sad beige toddler to me!!! let things not match sometimes!!!

@@BeatingHeartlandthe bricks won’t fall but we definitely get some debris dropping onto furniture. Definitely more cleaning involved
@@BeatingHeartland I think the cathedral shape of the ceiling stops any potential loose brick from falling.
Love the modern, clean white peices in the bedroom! Looks so good with the brick! And the bed is great. Whole room is perfect, nice work!
Are such places common in Manchester?
That dark kitchen is chefs kiss, kudos to the person who did that!

That yellow before and after - i love how they faces some of the books spine side in so the tone of the pages complemented the paint color.
