Simply being in possession of a firearm can get you up to 14 years in prison and a minimum of 6 strokes of the cane, and discharging a firearm is the death penalty. I don't remember what exactly the drink driving penalties are, but it's something like a couple thousand-dollar fine and up to a year in jail on the first offence.

You go home from that extatic night, family probably still in town, leaving tomorrow no doubt. then a phone call comes in, its the county sheriff who found your childs phone 100 yards away from the vehicle, notfying you that theres been a tragic accident and he cant conclude anything but theyre less than 5 minutes up the road. My friend who did volunteer firefighting told me the countless times he heard mothers scream, literally scream cry at the sight of their childrens head (i apoligize in advance) literally blown to peices in the vehicle, struck by drunk driver. He was so scared of being pulled over, he didn't even tell me that he was gonna fake a story up for what we're doing (just driving around and talking..) and the cops asked him, "so what are you doing tonight" my friend goes, "I'm just dropping my friend off in this town" then the cop asked me, "where do you live" and I'm just sitting there like what the fuck, I've never been in this town before I don't even know where I am wtf do I say" It only got worse from there.
i had a friend that could be stoopid drunk drive normal and get pulled over and clearly sound drunk asf and he would always find a way to mind fk the officer into not giving him a field sobriety test. I was always soo baffled cause if I got pulled over sober I would always somehow manage to get a charge for something. XD

It is fucked for towing cars when they are in a safe spot already. Tows cost so much money. If it's not in a precarious spot then it should just be left. If nobody has had a tow before they won't understand.
Keep in mind that alcohol has ruined more lives than drugs have and its legal. There are more alcohol deaths than all drugs combined. Government makes huge amounts of money off it so they promote it on television. I hope this info can keep you from considering drinking because it has had its own impact on my own life. Nothing severe but enough that I no longer want any part of it
