N690 is an underrated steel. I’ve got a viper kyomi that takes a hell of an edge. It’s not a tough steel but it is sufficient at every day tasks.

Great design and Voxnaes designed knives are my favorite. Hope to pick this one up

Unless that N690 has a near custom level heat treatment, this seems to be priced nearly double what I would want to pay for it.
    Great looking design though .

Blade HQ had TI versions of these I have 3 different verisons really like these. Haven't had any issues with Jespers knives ever.

I'm a big fan of Jesper Voxnaes and Jens Anso designed knives. Individual or collabs. This is definitely a quintessential Vox design. It's a good looking knife. I'm thinking it's a bit overpriced. My Fox Edge Defcon 5 Atrax by the 2 aforementioned designers was only $50. It's D2 instead of N690 with green G10. The blade steel on your knife is a better steel, but the handle materials are not indicative of the price point.

I think it looks like a fun adventure knife!

I have a core n love it. Was my gateway into vox stuff. The n690 is ok as a steel. This knife did come out about 5 years ago. I would say right at the start if the d2 budget era. So seeing n690 isn't way off. This one I assume is made in the Italy factory. So yea. Overall I like. Mine does not have lock issues either.

Picked one up in switzerland - 180chf for elmax/aluminum handle which is definitely overpriced comparing to the current industry, however im more and more in love with the knife. Just hold it in hand encourage me to cut something. ergo is phenomenal, solid construction and I also like that they leave a rough (~60-80grid) surface where the blade contact with the linerlock - increase the lifetime of the knife overall significantly. I flipped it hard everyday for the last year and the lock stay at 25% no more. Not sure why this kinda detail has not been done with other company

I bought the same knife, and I also find the lock difficult to disengage. Otherwise it seems pretty decent.

I have a Baby Core and have really wanted the large one ever since! I also have a Radius and I LOVE that knife too, so I have high hopes for this one!The only issue I have with this one is the price, eventhough I know it’s made in Italy!

Picked one of these up a couple days ago. Very rigid out the box. I can barely flick it and cannot drop shut at all. Very tight. Any way to fix this?

I’d return it to the retailer and get an exchange or refund

Did you try loosening the pivot a little? Might help. 🙂

$140 for N690 and FRN? No thank you, it’s a fancy Italian honey badger with barely budget steel

@@LuvThemKnives okay thank you very much. I actually prefer stronger detents over soft and light ones.

I feel like a lot of Italian knives are so close to being really good but need just a little refinement and QC.
