  • One day, in November 2020, when kovid was rampant in the world, we were walking through the city center. As we passed by Central Lázně, we saw an extraordinary revival for that time. A movie was being filmed. As we found out later, it was a thriller called Army of Thieves. I saw it recently. It's a fascinating movie. Especially those episodes filmed in Mariánské Lázně. In total, I managed to find 16 movies filmed in Mariánské Lázně. All of them are interesting in their own way. I watched them with pleasure. I found episodes related to Mariánské Lázně. I figured out where it was filmed. And my video is ready. I suggest you watch it.

    For obvious reasons, the creators of all these movies tried to show the most spectacular, beautiful and famous places in Mariánské Lázně. These are the Main Colonnade, the Cross Spring Pavilion, and the Colonnade of Rudolf and Ferdinand. I will not comment on such obvious episodes. You know these places perfectly well without me.     Czechoslovak musical comedy premiered in 1955, Music from Mars. The newly formed orchestra of the Mars furniture factory arrives for their first tour to the resort of Cholodná Teplá (Mariánské Lázně). Their first performance, in which they played mostly only musical scales, is recorded on the radio and they become famous and in demand all over the country.
