With this building coming out of the middle of a ground level, you could have a very spacious bedroom/office area up top, kitchen and bathroom on the ground for easier utilities. The-Toy-Guy Waste space? The structure only takes up about 3 feet because the rest is in the air. It's not like he went into a forest, cut down a bunch of trees and built a massive useless structure. He built something innovative and cool. Personally I enjoy camping too, but it's not for everyone.

I think the coolest feature is the uninterrupted glass panel. He arched the supports away from the panel and made them appear aesthetic rather than structural.
