I’m a whiskey head but I always enjoy Metaxa with a nice cigar pairing like a desert, especially after a nice heavy dinner. Keep it up guys awesome review. But give it some time, neat is much better imo.
Lol, we are too but a friend said we had to try it and sent us a bottle so we did. I still think it's very interesting and unique. Would definitely be a good desert drink. Thanks for checking it out and leaving a comment!
@@whiskeyandahammock3289 the comment isnt entirelly true , the correct comment is , if you dont like whiskeys you may love this as its smoother , for a closer to whiskey experiance try the reserve line , the nose is very close to a sweet burbon

try the 12 star , bit pricier but much better than most whiskeys
We will, I always include pouring a little Metaxa to all who visit and the reactions are interesting.

How would it compare to Cardinal Mendoza?
We will have to pick one up and give it a try although Metaxa should stand by itself since it's been ruled not a brandy.
